Hotel is older and showing its age. A good refresh is needed. Great for family with kids. Reservations at specality restaurants was more difficult than necessary. Food was good but very average. Staff were exceptional.

Property is located between two active construction sites; so loud noises and dust flying around all day every day. Food was the worst I’ve ever experienced at an all inclusive. The general upkeep of the resort was subpar, cracks in concrete, lamps hanging off the wall in rooms, our bed frame was broken the first day we got there. The bathrooms were so dirty with toilet paper and other “things” on the ground of bathroom. No toilet paper in the stalls for days.. the same toilets did not get new toilet paper for 3 days. You cannot get a pool or beach chair unless you wake up at 5am. Overall the place had way too many guests for what they are able to accommodate. Had to wait atleast 30 minutes every morning to even get into the buffet for breakfast, and the pools were uncomfortably packed with people. To reserve a spot at the restaurants, you need to be booking right at 8am when the bookings open, if not they’re all booked up but 8:10am. Eating at the buffet was completely chaotic, no service to the tables. If you need something (like utensils) you’d have to track down a waiter and ask, and they always seemed reluctant/annoyed to help.

* BUGS IN THE ROOMS *Honestly so disappointed in this hotel. We booked this place after looking at the reviews which all seemed pretty good. The hotel was overall pretty run down. On the first day checking in we had a random maintenance worker walk into my room without notice while I was changing. The fact that someone just walked into my room where my two children were sleeping was pretty unsettling. The hotel was over crowded with one main buffet. But the thing that made it the worst was that my room was full of cockroaches. I noticed one on the first night but it was the second night when we were going to bed that our room was full of them. There was a crack in the wall where we saw them come out of. I was disgusted. We called the front desk to see if we could move rooms and they said they couldn’t do anything till the morning. We had no place to go so had to stay the night. The next day we immediately went to the front desk and they again said we couldn’t change rooms or do anything to help the situation. We decided we had to leave the resort and when we were looking for places we could see crown paradise pop up with availability to book so unsure how there was no room to switch to. Would never go back to this resort ever. We are still working with Expedia to get a refund for the nights we did not stay there which is also proving to be challenging. It was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a resort and would not recommend to anyone.

Food was some of the best I’ve had at an all inclusive! Our family really enjoyed our week! The resort is quite clean and well kept, a few areas are a bit dated. The standard rooms are very plain, very basic amenities, not even an in room coffee pot.

Property was beautiful, some staff were so nice, some clearly were talking negative about you. Pros: beautiful location, three nice but cold pools, nice staff, replenish water bottles daily, Cons: the booking system for restaurants, options for Gluten free and vegetarian meals not just lettuce were limited, sink didn’t drain, light didn’t work in room, watered down booze

Really good for kids - we always had lots to do. It’s not a fancy place but it was clean and was well worth the money we spent. We had an excellent stay here.

The open buffet food was not as I expected compared to other resorts; the protein options were very limited. However, the restaurants for dinner were decent! Moreover, the kid's paradise was amazing; my kid loved it. Thank you so much

I would not recommend this resort, the food was horrible. The staff was more worried about each other and themselves. Limit pools and you have to wake up at 5 am to try and get beach chairs by throwing your belongings on them. The whole resort is outdated and smells.
