My partner and I stayed at Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun to celebrate our anniversary, but the experience was frustrating from the start. After a red-eye flight, we arrived exhausted and hoped to check in early. The front desk staff, especially Paola, was more focused on upselling than helping. Despite our VIP Expedia status (which includes free upgrades), we were told we could only get an available room early if we paid $200–$300 more. When we declined, she became dismissive and unhelpful. Another staff member tried to assist, but Paola cut him off. Later, when she wasn’t around, a different employee quickly upgraded us to the exact room Paola claimed wasn’t available—at no extra cost. We were also approached by another staff member pretending to be friendly, but it turned out he was trying to get us into a timeshare-style sales meeting. It felt like the staff constantly had an angle, and genuine service was hard to find. The room service was slow, the “daily wine” included with our package was reduced to one bottle total, and housekeeping was inconsistent. The food was mostly disappointing, with only tacos, pizza, and coffee being decent. The pool was uncomfortably warm and didn’t feel clean. Even on checkout, no one helped with luggage, and the escalator was out of service. This was the worst resort experience we’ve had in Cancun. We made the best of it, but we won’t be coming back and can’t recommend it to others.

Food was ok . Pools were amazing. Ocean was really close, nice view . Service exellent . Room was ok . Was a lot of humidity in the room and the floor gets wet quickly . My toddlers kept falling all the time . No outdor playground for kids. And the indoor playground was closed. Night time activities wasn't the best.

Overall the staff was very kind and accommodating. However, they were a bit salesy and pushy. Things were a bit overpriced at the resort itself, but overall it’s a gorgeous place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were OK. We paid extra at the restaurants and it was very good. I liked that they had free room service. They had some issues with our room and actually assigned another party our room who came in without our knowledge. Was strange. We didn’t get all our extras and the room was missing some amenities.

It was very clean, front desk staff (Hector) was very nice and efficient and he was able to accommodate my mom, sister and I in the room I requested and he gave us information about the hotel. Also all the staff at buffet was very sweet and happy, we appreciated them all. Thank you!
