Food was below average, drinks were inconsistent. The older gentleman at the beach bar was amazing. The rest of the bartenders were subpar. There was not much in the way of entertainment. We never had the vip breakfast, it was never opened. They have 5 resturants. 2 or 3 were closed each night which made waiting every night for over an hour frustrating. I went to this resort about 10 years ago, we will never return.

Check-in was difficult, we arrived in the morning, I called to ask if they had early check-in, they informed me that after 10am they have rooms available, I was on my way, see you in 15 mins.,I said. Upon arrival, I was told they had no rooms for 10am check-in. We appreciated that they allowed us the use of the amenities, we were having breakfast when I received a text that my room was ready, I made my way to the front desk, I was told that it was not ready, frustrating, yes.Our room was ready at 12, fine, we were early. Later, our safe began to make sounds, all night, next day called them to fix, they did, that night same thing, I asked them to turn it off as we were not using it. This same person asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, we let him know that it was a birthday trip. He said that they could decorate her room, we gave him all the info for the other room. this was at 10am. We spent hours at the pool to give them time to decorate, come 3pm, nothing. I checked with concierge, Elena told me that they had the request to decorate, I asked if they could expedite it. she said she would ask but I doubt it.Long story short, room was not decorated and we never received an apology. we had brought our own decorations, we decorated last minute, at 6:30. After 2 days drinks were still warm, they brought new fridge. Rafael in concierge was rude, Norma an associate can't tell time, she made our reservation for 6, but said 8, a plus, the Italian restaurant fit us in.

The beach on which this hotel is located is stunning. But that’s where the positive experience ends. The hotel itself is extremely dated. The food was not very good - tasted very bland. I was at another all inclusive hotel in Cancun a month prior to this one, and the food was delicious. The staff…. The entire time they make you feel like you are in their way, or that you bother them. It doesn’t seem like they have a great work culture at this hotel, because it translates through how the staff is treating their guests. Visited a Hilton in Cancun, and had the opposite experience, where staff really put the comfort of their guests first, and it felt though ever little detail. If you want a good beach, you can stay here. If you want to enjoy your stay - this is not the hotel.

The staff were all very friendly and professional. The entire resort was very clean. We were able to dine at each restaurant without needing reservations.

We absolutely loved this resort. The pools were amazing, the property, the staff, buffet could use some help but all the restaurants we ate at were amazing. The rooms room nice and clean but could use a little updating. But if that is the only thing I can complain about then that should tell you something about this place. Would defiantly go back.

It was our first time visiting the Cancun Hotel Zone. Overall, the Fiesta Americana was a good choice. My wife and I enjoyed the weather, swimming in the pools, and the unforgettable beach sunrise. As for the food, we loved the seafood from Cevicheria, which offered a great ocean view, quick service, and Mexicano with authentic Mexican flavors. However, we didn’t enjoy Rosato—the tables were too small, the portions were small compared to the size of the dishes, and the waiting time was long. Kalmia had a good buffet, but the service didn’t match the quality of the food. One downside was the lack of good Asian food, especially Chinese cuisine. Additionally, the resort lacked sports facilities like ping pong tables or pickleball courts, which would have been great for longer stays or to attract more Asian tourists.

Absolutely loved this resort for a last minute vaca! The food was really good and the plunge room was excellent! Staff is friendly and helpful.

My friends and I had a wonderful time! We enjoyed the pool, spa, easy access to the beach, the staff were so kind, and everything was very easy! We enjoyed the variety of restaurants the resort had, and it was it felt like we were going off property for dinner every night to wine and dine (with the convenience of simply going downstairs). Highly recommend going to grab a cappachino and then some Nutella crepes from the incredible Paola in the afternoon. Only critique we had was that our last evening we went to the Thai restaurant and had to wait over an hour (the resort doesn’t take reservations, but most restaurants we typically only waited 20 minutes). When we were sat it was an incredibly long wait for actual service, and the food was honestly subpar, if that. Highly recommend the Mexican & Italian restaurants located in the main building! Overall, I would recommend this resort to anyone! I feel like we got more than we paid for.
