Horrible service. Didn’t get room paid for. Find out Members of franchise get first dibs, 3rd party (Expedia) reservations are considered. Got run around from staff, nobody on same page. A bunch of I’m sorry but no accommodation to their error. Limited food choice in buffet. Hibachi was horrible, given scraps and hard rice after the VIP family served. Mexican restaurant only place treated fairly-food good breakfast/dinner. Italian decent breakfast/dinner. Beautiful hotel. Need to train staff better. A lot of ppl were left in lobby everyday upon check in for some reason or another. Would not return nor recommend and I travel a lot. Excursions were our only enjoyable moments. Entertainment was mediocre.

Overall, we loved our stay. Their operation is really smooth. It’s a big property and very well maintained. One important feedback we have is food quality. They have 5 restaurants within the property and 4 of them were included in the package. We tried all four and we think the food was underwhelming. The restaurants were very nice but the food was not tasty. I hope this feedback will be helpful. The best thing about our stay was the live saxophone by the adult-only pool. This guy randomly showed up by the pool in the afternoon and started playing. It was very nice! Thanks for the hospitality.

Loved the swim out room. Having a butler was great. Bed was super comfy and the bath towels were nice and luxurious. Not a lot of activities and the food wasn’t great. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The Italian restaurant was great. The Mexican restaurant was also great. The buffet restaurant didn’t have enough variety of choices and the food was disappointing. The adult pool was really nice and relaxing. The bartenders made great drinks at the adult pool but if you’re looking to get a drink served to you poolside, the servers were courteous but didn’t come around too often

Absolutely loved Grand Park Royal. ❤️ travel with a family of 6. Myself, husband and 4 kids (14,18x2 and 21) Kids had their own room (Master suite oceanfront )and husband and I upgraded to the Royal towers to a King grand terrace with plunge pool. Best decision!! Resort was perfect size! Not to big with a lot of walking back and forth. Small enough to let kids do their own thing and explore . Rooms we’ve very clean and any issues we encountered during our stay were handled promptly. Food was delicious, and drink were good too ! The beach felt very exclusive, had service in the Bali beds that were reserved for us. We definitely plan to return one day. Thank you for a great stay Grand Park Royal ☀️

My fiancé and I just returned from the most wonderful trip to Grand Park Royal. I have limited space to write, but will cover the most important things. Service: Excellent. We didn't come across a single employee who didn't have a smile on their face, consistent energy, and a willingness to go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Yajahira, our Butler, was accommodating, extremely quick to respond to our requests, and super personable. Each AM she would send us a message detailing the events happening at the resort that day, reserve our cabana, make dinner resos, and also put rose petals on our bed one evening and delivered a chocolate cake to celebrate our engagement. Jose Mercedes in the dining staff was incredible - intuitive and rapid service that had us relaxed. Roberto the bartender in the adult pool made the best drinks on the resort, hands down. Rooms and Cleanliness: Beautiful rooms (we upgraded to the Royal Tower - worth it!) that were cleaned within the hour of leaving in the AM and turned down for bed while at dinner. Gorgeous views, comfortable bed, excellent AC. Food: We have no complaints. We are not picky eaters and we love food - buffet was great, seafood restaurant amazing, and Mexican night? Incredible. Do not miss it. Sushi can be skipped but Hibachi cannot. Beach: Peak sargassum season but still stunning, spacious, and swimmable (certain times of day are better than others) Pool: Enjoyable. Not too much entertainment but just enough. Fab resort!!
