I’ve stayed at this property a few times and this visit was by far the worst… Firstly, I noticed staff was dismissive anytime I mentioned something. For example, our TV didn’t work, we didn’t have a hot shower and the the hair dryer was broken. I had to address this over and over again for 48 hours before it got fixed. Then, I noticed the staff gets drunk right in front of you and pretends it didn’t happen. I was waiting for drinks at the buffet but my waiter was too busy hiding and drinking his own drinks… In the lobby, the buff guy who works the bar was rude every single time I went to him. I would leave $5 tips for a single drink and he’d still be rude for no reason. Meanwhile, the pretty gringo girls would get a completely different treatment. Regardless I made the most of it with the views and my favorite staff member was the lady that makes the omelettes in the morning. I’m very easy to impress and I don’t look for high luxery but this visit was beyond disappointing. Never again.

We had noisy neighbors when we first arrived. We requested a room change and they ignored us for 2 hours. We had to go to the desk twice and request to speak to the manager who was extremely rude and dismissive. They finally changed our room and then the new room had NO AIR conditioning for 3 hours. They did not compensate us either.

I like that the property was clean and the food was good. But I don’t like the guy at front lobby approached me told me he will give me discounts on activities tour I just gave to attend breakfast presentations of the property and ask me for $50 US dollars. I wasn’t able to attend because I have plans and he didn’t return my $50.

The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The property is beautiful and the room was clean and they came to clean daily. The entertainment was amazing!! The shows they did daily were spectacular. The staff in every area was friendly professional and a joy to be around. The property had several areas that were under construction. The property is right on the beach which is amazing although the vendors walk up the stairs to the pool area frequently during the day to try and sell items. Not sure that it’s a normal thing to be on property being so close to the beach.

My biggest complain is the food! I had previously stayed at this hotel and the food was the main reason why we went back but food was not the best, not many option and just not good in general. Very limited options for kids. My last night was Mexican night and that was the only 10/10. Staff was great as always, great service. If it wasn’t for the food choices I would give it 5 stars.

Everything was good, we had a great time. The only issue was the spa, the ladies were very nice but the beauty and nail service was not done in the right way.
