The staff was friendly but not very helpful. The maid came and cleaned out room she took one of the bags that was given to is as part of our stay and nobody would replace it. The front desk acted like they had no idea how to replace it. It is literally a Villa Del Palmar bag they put on your bed on your first day. I also lost dropped my workout gloves on the way from the gym. Someone probably picked it up as they were cleaning. There apparently is no lost and found the front desk said they would try to find it never reported back. My daughter forgot her toothbrush front desk says well go buy one. Im like wow, then when I got a madsage they gave them away for free there. Wouldve been nice to know before i paid $5 at the store. It was overall a nice stay but the front desk and staff are virtually useless when you have questions or needs. Also there is not a lot to do, everything shuts down early the food and drink service to the pool ends at 5pm. Then you have to go to a restaurant.

Good:Property was pretty overall. Pool volleyball was fun. Servers were nice. Bad: No swim up bars. Room never got below 76 degrees! Restaurants were small with few tables so reservations were difficult to secure. Best options on every menu cost extra. Time share push right after check in. Lots of seaweed on beach.

We really enjoyed the room. It was very spacious with a king sized bed. Two large bathrooms. Great service. The resort is gorgeous and well maintained. Lots of pools to choose from with lots of palm trees for cover from the heat. Beach was great and despite lots of seaweed washing up on shore, the resort was quick to clean it up multiple times a day! Lots of loungers to choose from including cabanas. Can easily reserve a chair in the morning which was great. Very family friendly. The food was outstanding. The breakfast buffet was incredible. I would come back. Highly recommended.

Very good service, they would go above and beyond to give a great service and accomodate any of your needs. During this time of the year- ends of June the beach is useless. If coming for the beach go to Isla Mujeres. If coming to rest or drink the property is great! Saddly we went because of the Beach and the Kids. Don't know if during a different season the beach looks better

Our concierge directors were amazing with guiding us through out the stay, I would request Pável and Yosel to anyone who is planning to visit, the package I got for the family was just perfect and the service was the icing on the cake along with the 3bdrm villa penthouse was just amazing, beds are comfy, rooms made everyday, private chef breakfast and the refrigerator always stocked even with my non alcoholic beer

We had a very fun week staying at Villa Del Palmar. Staff are very friendly, helpful and you really feel that you are home. We availed of their all inclusive and it was awesome they will deliver all your request whether its food or tequila! The resort is clean and well maintained! Because of the beauty pf Mexico we are now a Tafer member! Will be seeing more of Mexico yearly!

We arrived excited to start our vacation, but the first thing we encountered was a wait of over six hours to get our room. When they finally assigned it to us, it was still being cleaned, so we had to wait outside with our two children. Rooms and cleanliness Once ready, the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and generally very clean. Amenities were fine and the beds were comfortable. Food and drinks The all-inclusive isn’t really all-inclusive: food options are limited and the buffet is only available for breakfast. There’s no buffet for lunch or dinner, and you have to sign a receipt for every item you consume, which slows everything down. At the steakhouse bar, we encountered some staff who were openly rude, which took away from the experience. Beach and activities The beach is beautiful, but there’s a lot of seaweed and rocky areas, so it’s best to bring water shoes. Daytime activities and nighttime entertainment are quite limited—if you’re looking for constant animation, this is not the place. The best part The Legend restaurant was a highlight: delicious food, excellent service, and a genuinely friendly team. Big thanks to Jorge and the manager for their outstanding attention. Conclusion If you prioritize a clean and comfortable room, the hotel delivers. However, be prepared for long waits, limited food options, and a lack of entertainment. The Legend restaurant and its team are the real strong point, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

I thought the service was excellent! By the pool waiters were there to get you anything you could want. The accomodations were also excellent. We stayed in the 2 bedroom with 5 of us and it was more than enough space. The balconies were huge and a great spot to unwind. The food at the buffet was top.notch and each night had a different theme. The food was of the highest quality. If I had to be a bit critical, I wished there would have been a bit more activity wise for the kids. The pools were great but that got a bit repetitive for our kids. The giant inflatable was not quite the same as what was advertised. Maybe invest in some more life jackets that are kids sized. As mentioned before the food was top notch but a few more options wouldn't have hurt. Also room service was ok but often super backed up. All in all a great laid back vibe. Would go back with adults but might look for something a bit more kid centric if I were bringing the family again

The food was excellent with so many delicious options at every meal — even our picky kids found things they loved. We especially enjoyed the themed dinners and the 24-hour snack bar. The pools were clean and fun, and the beach was absolutely stunning. There were plenty of activities for both adults and kids, from water aerobics and beach volleyball to kids’ club games and nightly shows. Our room was spacious, quiet, and had a beautiful view. Housekeeping did a great job every day.
