Had a fantastic stay. Hotel was clean had great food choices loved the different theme nights, only issue we had was the staff at de Vinci restaurant both times we went there were very rude and not friendly. Would definitely come back really sad to leave :) Great value for money

Likes: - We had actually booked for a lagoon view and when we requested we were upgraded for a partial ocean view. - The service staff are very friendly and do a great job. - We could easily get change for our big peso notes at the reception. Dislikes: - On day 1, we were approached by a staff member and were asked if we wanted to experience 'VIP Breakfast' followed by a ~80-90 minutes tour of the property. Further, we were told multiple times that they were not trying to sell anything. On the day of the VIP Breakfast, we realized that there was nothing VIP. We had our regular breakfast, but were accompanied by a sales person. He asked a lot of questions about the type of vacation that we want, the amount of money we want to spend, etc. What irritated us the most was the sales pitch went beyond 2 hours. 1 hour into the sales pitch, the sales person was accompanied by another sales person - who actually spoke offensively about my husband - he said to my husband's face that you do not look like a person of your age. This sales pitch ruined almost half of our day. Don't at all say YES to a VIP Breakfast, if they ask for one. - The bathroom floor was not cleaned some of the days. - We are vegetarians, and there are very less vegetarian options. Further, food placards were not placed for every food item, and some of the veg options were put together with non-veg options. So, it was difficult to distinguish. - Some of the cooked foods reek of overused burnt oil smell.

I believe there could be better choice for dinner and the abilty to reserve should be done on an app, instead of using employee, where there time could be used somewhere.else. overall great experience

The ONLY issue with this property was the food and its access. The pool had a little restaurant with hamburgers, wings, pizza etc. But to be able to order you had to be seated at one of the 5 tables where they would take your order. This is a very large resort which made getting one of these tables very difficult. If you were lucky enough to get a table and order, the wait time was crazy. Average time was a good hour from start to finish.... it was crazy. All the restaurants ran like this. To eat at buffet you had to check in, wait to be assigned a table. There were people lined up all the way out of the restaurant just waiting while there was many many open tables. In general food service was so SLOW.... and all the rules seemed to make it complicated and time consuming and unnecessary. Along with the slow food service was NOT enough bar staff. If you wanted a drink ... wait times were crazy. This is truly a beautiful resort, and we loved it. But we waisted a lot of time waiting... after a few days this was very very frustrating. We are nit a picky group but will reconsider if we return based on if we read reviews in changes being made. Big shout out to Julio at pool bar. He worked his tail off to accomodate everyone under the short staffed circumstances. Overall this was not lazy staff not working hard ... more just needing more staff and less procedures to access food.

Good facility and staff, good food, but difficult to get reservations for the restaurants on the resort. Unless you are part of their travel club, good beach and pool seats are limited.

Staff was friendly and property was clean. We did however notice down by the beach bar this older women trying to force people to drink a beverage from a black Stanley cup. She handed a tip of $50 to bartender Felipe and he pretended he didn’t see anything that was going on. She has a red wristband on and was wearing a hot pink coverup. Claiming she was from Colombia. Felt very unsafe after that. Will not be going back.

The Wyndham Grand Cancún was perfect for what we were looking for. We wanted a non luxury all inclusive and it did the job. I enjoyed the multiple pools and the jacuzzi bar was nice for the early evenings. The food was average but had some above average options as well. Restaurants: Breakfast at Pima Colada (La Pina): We enjoyed breakfast here everyday. It was nice to be served rather than buffet style. My group enjoyed the pancakes, mexican burrito, and croissant. They also brought out fruit plates and bread to the tables. Victor was super great and we were always happy to see him. We had Dinner at La Paloma Buffet: We weren’t super impressed by the options at the buffet. We had quesadillas made to order that were good but wasn’t a fan of a lot of the other food. Dinner at La Vista: We really enjoyed this meal. The salad bar and soups have great options and felt more elevated than the buffet. We all had the sirloin or baseball cut and they were all great. Service was exceptional as well. Dinner at Da Vinci: Service was great here
