Excellent staff. Very attentive and professional. Hotel is a great location, quiet and away from a main road. Lots of character. Spa, Gym, and Pool all a great surprise.

Had a fantastic stay. Staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. Facilities were wonderful. Only issue was that my room was very cold by the time I returned in the evening. I noticed an electric radiator but didn't think I would need to turn it on - a little heads up at reception to turn it on low for a few hours would have been great.

Breakfast was good and enough choice ..service was good. The room I had did have a drawer that was stuck, window needed the edges cleaning as when I wiped the condensation off the glass the “ putty” was dirty. But it was a lovely size and I loved the configuration of it. The guy on the bar in the evening was great. He made us welcome and laugh. Couldn’t do enough for me.

Tired, dated, cold. First suite radiator not working, changed room, not much better. Single glazed metal framed windows, heating turned off, had to get into bed to keep warm. Only given a broken fan heater to keep warm & advised to keep it on overnight if cold - serious health & safety issue! Light switches not working, bathroom fan not working. Bedside lamp broken, replacement had shade balanced on base, not connected. Bathroom very grubby, shower attachment missing from bath. Unable to stream content to t.v. Breakfast selection very poor, staff untrained, portions very frugal. Beautiful gardens. Spa o.k.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The spa facilities are nice and clean although pool is a little cold. We stayed in one of the apartments which are nicely furnished but the bed consisted of two singles which was noticeable and not the most comfortable if you find yourself in the middle of the bed

Room was ok. Really disappointed about the shower. Barely got any heat or power out of it. Bathroom door didnt open fully and main top light never worked. There was also a wedding in so a live band were pmaying and coukd be heard 2 floors below (but did finish around 11 30pm)
