The hotel is clean with a beautiful setting, especially with the holiday decorations. The staff is willing to go above and beyond, but they are always very busy at the front desk, and there is almost always a line to wait for assistance. The room was clean and comfortable, though I wish it had a bathtub—especially after walking 15,000 steps each day!

The hotel was very upscale with awesome technology and was in a great location. The staff was very professional and housekeeping did.an excellent job. My room was impeccable and the climate control worked like a charm to keep my room warm during the frigid Chicago weather. The only real negatives are the prices of food, noisy doors, and large credit card holds for incidentals.

Great location and beautiful property, but disappointing service LondonHouse Chicago is in a fantastic location and the property itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the hotel. During our 4-day stay, we never received fresh washcloths despite requesting them, and used room-service items (trash, silverware, etc.) were left in our room for two days before anyone cleared them. Even more concerning, a room-service tray sat on the hallway floor outside a neighboring room for two full days — not what you’d expect at this level. Service in the lobby bar was also very slow and inattentive, although we did have a good experience at the rooftop bar, which was decorated very festively! Overall, a nice property in a great location, but the lack of attention to basic service needs made the stay less enjoyable than expected.
