our stay was far from the amazing experience you expected. Despite requesting accommodations, you were placed next to the elevators loud noises every night with no alternatives offered. Housekeeping never visited your room, forcing you to manage your own trash and request towels repeatedly. The door malfunctioned, requiring you to ask for assistance to enter each time, which was highly inconvenient. The staff’s attitude was consistently rude, from the valet to the door attendants, with no friendly greetings or basic courtesy. This was our first visit to Chicago, and despite the hotel not being busy, the service was unacceptable. Additionally, the river view you booked through Expedia was not honored; instead, you were offered a back-and-forth negotiation and asked to pay an extra $360, which I you refused. Overall, the front desk was unwelcoming and lacked any warmth or personality, making this your worst hotel experience. You would not recommend this stay to others.

Parking price is absurd… it was half our room rate so we didn’t utilize it. Room was great, but extremely noisy on Wacker which was expected, but still pretty bad. Hot water almost non existent in the morning. Very pricey breakfast and it wasn’t very good. Asked to be moved rooms due to noise and view, and they said that because we had a “surprise” in our room we couldn’t be moved. That surprise was a card. I would’ve rather had a different room. Overall it was fine, best part was the very comfy bed.

The most wonderful stay! The staff here was wonderful from the doormen. To the bartenders to the housekeeping staff. The room was comfortable and quiet and cleaned to a tee daily! I can't wait to come back!
