I like the cleanliness of the hotel.. i had a corner room which gave me a fantastic view of the city..I also like how safe the hotel made me feel, my husband and I came back late at night several times.. I felt secured in this hotel.. WONDERFUL!

Great location. Communication was poor. 2 days prior to check-in we were messaged about the pool being closed and I responded back with a question and was never responded back to. While staying, we requested an additional blanket be brought to the room which was responded with an ok, but we never received said blanket. And then when we called for our car at checkout, they said no problem it would be 5-10 minutes before it would be at the front. We went down at 10 minutes and the valet said it had never been called for. We were also told at check-in that beverages would be available in the morning hours in the lobby/seating area and when we went down there, we were told that was not true/available. Very poor communication.

Overall my friends and I enjoyed our stay, it’s in the heart of the city so location is perfect, the staff was great, anything we needed they had it. The restaurant downstairs was really good! The only problem was the pool was closed during our stay.

Instead of going on a cruise my wife & l decided on a Staycation for our anniversary the staff specifically Gabby was exceptional Our rm? Was phenomenal. Divided area. Great view. King size bed. We were here for a four-night stay and couldn't be happier with our experience. The location is great, the front desk is helpful and friendly, the room is spacious and clean, and the housekeeping is professional. Shout-out to all the staff who we met and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We loved our entire stay and can't wait for our next trip to Chicago. We'll definitely stay with Royal Sonesta Chicago River North the next time we're in town!
