Beautiful property, incredible view from the 14th floor and really comfy bed. The suites are definitely worth it for that tub and that view! But honestly the best part was how kind all of the staff was — from those that checked us in to housekeeping to the manager at the restaurant. Everyone had a really calm, chill and friendly vibe and that felt both welcoming and relaxing. We loved our stay and can’t wait for another staycation with y’all.

First stay; won't be the last!

Lovely room with spacious shower (great water pressure) and especially attentive housekeeping. Lots of thoughtful design choices -- like the long entryway to limit any noise from the hallway, the closet you can access from either side, and hooks for winter coats. This was our first time staying at the Viceroy (I picked it to be close to the Newberry Library, and because I found a great deal), and we will happily return!

The hotel rooms are beautiful (they are on the small side) but beautifully decorated. The lobby is kind of weird and was freezing cold. The restaurant was great and the service was too. The rooftop bar was beautiful! But was closed most of the days I was there. There is supposed to be coffee service in the lobby but it was always closed ?? But they had a candy cart that was very fun
