Service was great! Front desk and valet staff were amazing. Really convenient to have Somerset right by the lobby and Pandan had the best ube flan I've ever had. The bed was comfortable and the room was beautiful with a great view of the city. There are restaurants, bars and shops all next to the hotel - it was very convenient. We will absolutely be staying here next time we visit Chicago!

I've stayed at this hotel several times in the past during business trips, but unfortunately, my most recent 4-night stay left a lot to be desired. The room was dusty, and I found long red hairs throughout the bathroom—on the floor and even the door—which was unsettling. The armoire also had a strong mildew smell, which I reported to the front desk, but there was no follow-up. I ordered room service and requested a medium-well steak, but it arrived rare. When I called to mention it, I was only thanked for the feedback—no offer to correct the order. I also left a note on the tray explaining the issue, but again, no response. Given the drop in cleanliness, service, and attention to detail, I won’t be returning on future visits. Disappointing experience from a place I once relied on.

The hotel has potential and some great qualities, especially the location and aesthetics, but the cleanliness and attention to guest comfort need improvement, particularly for the price and the reputation the hotel holds. Pros: - Surrounded by lots of restaurants, shops, and attractions, most are within walking distance. - The hotel has a stylish, boutique feel that’s visually appealing. - My room had a beautiful view of the lake, which was especially breathtaking at night. - The bed and pillows were very cozy and made for restful sleep. - Breakfast from Somerset (via in-room dining) was delicious and satisfying. Cons: - Room wasn’t fully stocked with towels and toiletries upon check-in. - There were visible cleanliness concerns like a white substance on the wall, stains on the bathroom outlet, dusty and dirty baseboards. - Chaise and curtains also had stains. - Daily resort fees didn’t seem justified considering the limited amenities, just a small pool and a gym. - Underwhelming lobby with very limited seating for guests.

Best hotel in Chicago!!

Excellent hotel. Great staff and location. Spotlessly clean and has all the amenities beautiful roof top cocktail bar with more great service, except small plates and drinks.
