Staff were courteous, room was clean, central location is good. Noise from the street made for a restless night and no tissues (?), window lach broken so that probably contributed to noise issue. Additionally it seems that a side gate for fire exit could not be opened. Maybe it's not for a fire exit.

The room was nice comfortable and clean. However there was no toilet paper, no towels, or bath mat, no dish cloth or tea towel, and the body wash was empty. We remedied a couple of things but just didnt bother with others. Noisy by the road but to be expected on a busy road.

Positivecomments about this property can’tbe for real.Sunday avo waited at a desertedscruffy reception for 10min.When someone finally came,no apology.Wanted ID yet money already taken offbank card b4 we arrived! Room we were given cold damp Paint chipped & worn on all cupboards. Strange bathroom sliding door was partoff rails & wouldn’t shut/seal properly. No vent fan for toilet& shower yuck!.Furniture small & uncomfortable. Odd bench with no sink and no obvious plugs to run kettle & crumb filledtoaster?Had to move stuff around to make place useable. Rockhard single bed. Pleased didn’t need to use it. Shower rose broken and floppy.No water pressure to speak of.Wetshowerarrangement with showercurtain but made floor slippery/dangerous. Paper thin walls. People in next room playing incessant music terrible coughing and some raised voices..could clearly hear conversations. Was no fire exit in room!!Rear carpark scruffy dirty and no security lighting into rear entrance which was only way in for guests. Never saw any staff at all!!No room servicing or offer of it over our Sun-Tues stay. The place felt unsafe & a bit like a like a doss house. Shouldn’t be listed for booking! Website photos are not representative!Pretty upsetting as my wife was in ChCh for an operation. Chose this as looked cosy, & very close to hospital. As regular motel hotel users worldwide, this was one of worst we’ve experienced, esp in NZ. Sorry didn’t bother with photos. Had other things to worry about.

Room was great and clean, water pressure and shower reel wasn’t the greatest. Paper thin walls, we had a lady “of the night” beside us being up all night talking, playing loud music and doing her business until 6.00am Not too impressed and had hardly any sleep ☹️
