Could not go onto Balcony as the door could not open. We were in a top floor apartment. All handrails to the top floor on the staircase was loose. The shower "door" into the tub is placed in such a way that it is dangerous to get in and out of this bathtub, because you have to lean against the wall at an angle to open and close the door while standing in the bathtub. The bed mattresses can do with replacing as it is very worn out. You can feel the bed springs sticking into your back when lying down.

Great location for family visiting Christchurch for BMX while enjoying a beach holiday. Staff are approachable and responsive, clean towels provided during week. Kitchen could have done with a few extra utensils and some windows and furnishings could benefit from small repairs - nothing that impacted on usability or comfort of the apartment. We would book again!

Bathroom had broken locks…Brocken shower, broken shower door and replaced with short filthy curtains.. Kitchen table glass stand was broken with missing suction cups thus glass was just sliding down…luckily did not break… Over all a 1 star apartment not a 3 as it was shown on Expedia

The apartment was very dated and run down, all of which could of been excused if it had been cleaned properly. There was dust and dead bugs through out the apartment, spider webs over everything and the dishes weren't clean.

Check in for this property was lengthy with payment facilities not working. Parking was very tight. The room was difficult to access and not advertised to be on level one. The main slider door was damaged and unable to be locked. The TV didn't work, and the room was very old with noticeable maintenance required. Bedding was sparce and the covers stained. Extra blankets were very old and pilled. It felt like ones was staying in a teenage boys room. The bathroom was old and towels thin. Roosters nearby obviously out of the properties control

Communication with the host was good, the living room looked clean, the bathroom had mold, cobwebs in different areas and lamps, the bathroom drain gave off an acidic smell and most of the furniture is worn and old, in the next door a Rooster. I would rate the overall cleanliness at 8/10

Easy check in, mostly good facilities but really need some maintenance and updating around the outside area. The thing that lets it majorly down is the bed. I don’t think I slept an hour over the whole night. Could feel and hear the springs when moving. That is the thing that sticks in my mind and overshadows the good.

The photos online are deceiving. The apartment we were placed in was too small for our family of 6 and really run down. We were supplied with the world’s smallest bin in the kitchen and they put floor boards in the bathroom and asks people not to get them wet… you’re in a bathroom. There were cracks in all the walls, doors didn’t shut properly and a homeless man started sleeping in the laundry halfway through our stay. We wouldn’t stay here again. The only thing it had going for it was that it was close to the beach.
