Very central location, easily walk to BNZ center five lanes where has lots of restaurants and cafes and bars. Very helpful and friendly staffs especially the lady in the reception. Nice and comfy bed, clean room. Parking was Ok too for the location $10 per night for parking which is good.Highly recommend! Definitely will come back next time.

Excellent site for closeness to Christchurch city centre. We were let down by the fact that the restaurant was closed except for breakfast. Breakfast service was so slow, 40minutes plus, to provide two eggs on toast!

All rooms are not created equal. For example, not all rooms have proper coffee service. My room was instant coffee. Yuck. I had to ask for the room to be made up on the second day, even with the sign on the door. I had no housekeeping service on the first day. The hotel looks under-utilized with empty hallways, elevators, reception. The restaurant is only open for breakfast. I didn’t use it.

Theoretically a good location in Christchurch. Rooms and service were fine, only unfortunate thing were the two homeless gentleman that were camping out in front of the hotel right next to the entrance that felt the need to comment when walked by.

The room was clean and the staff helpful. There was no parking, you had to drive to a carpark and walk down the street. For the price I would expect more as the standard was more like a low budget hotel.

Very clean and updated room. Arrived late due to flight being cancelled and left early to take tranzalpine train so can’t fault this place at all. Too bad we couldn’t stay longer

No room service. Breakfast uninspired and self-service buffet (sugary small pastries, the cheapest white bread for toast; warmer trays of dry scrambled egg, raw ‘grilled’ tomatoes, cheap sausage and limp bacon) and filter coffee in a flask. Not acceptable for Christchurch’s newest hotel! I walked 2 minutes to Riverside and had a great breakfast for $15. Rooms clean and tidy but no staff after hours. And the entrance adjoins Kentucky FriedChicken outlet so many homeless people outside. Central Hotel but priced too high for what it offers - which is just a room and a franchise roof top restaurant.
