Rapaura WaterGardens is absolutely magical. Imagine a cottage nestled in your own secret garden, 64 acres of lush bushes, native trees, lily ponds, flowers in bloom, gurgling streams, walking paths, green mounds of grass everywhere, and a gorgeous waterfall. Hard to not pinch yourself when you look out the sparkling windows gazing at nature, with the occasional ducks passing by and the birds singing their song. As you sit in your cozy cottage, luxurious in all the necessities, comfy in the most charming way, you just can’t help but feel grateful that you chose to stay 4 nights. Learning bits of the history that created this special place over 50 years ago and knowing that Sacha and Serena have taken it over from their late mummy as custodians and hosts with Super Ross, who we’ve not met, as the groundskeeper, can’t help but make us feel like family. What a special place this is, one that is in the spirit of a country known for its natural beauty and kind folks.

Stay in paradise

This is a really beautiful place to spend a few nights. Setting is in a rainforest with waterfall and lovely gardens. It is a unique experience that is hard to find now. Sacha is a wonderful host.

Beautiful gardens and the cottage was amazing. We were there for a friends wedding and the staff went above and beyond! Only advice would be to request a fan in the cottage, it was very warm well into the evening and as the cottages are surrounded by the garden and trees there are too many mossies to be comfortable leaving windows open

숲속에 숨겨진 보석같은곳? 바다보다 숲을 좋아하는 우리 가족의 여름 휴양지로 더할나위없이 좋았습니다. 별장에 놀러 온 듯 편안하고 아늑했어요. 정원은 잘 가꾸어져있고 푸른 나무들이 주는 싱그러움에 눈도 마음도 새로워지는 느낌이예요. 오리들도 사랑스럽고요. 매년 찾고 싶은 휴양지로 등극입니다

Rauhaisaa oleskelua ankkojen/sorsien kanssa

Meillä oli mökki yhdeksi yöksi. Mökki oli iso ja siellä oli sähköt ja juokseva vesi. Aamupalatarvikkeet oli tuotu valmiiksi keittiöön. Oikein siistit tilat lukuunottamatta oleskelutilan kokolattiamattoa. Huomionarvoista että mökissä ei ole nettiä eikä telkkaria ja lähistöllä ei ole illallista tai kauppoja. Mökistä on mahtavat näkymät läheiseen metsään ja mäelle. Hintaan kuului myös Watergardenin sisäänpääsy (normaalisti taisi olla noin 15 dollaria), jossa etenkin lummeallas on upea. Ulkosalla viihtyvät myös useat sorsat/ankat joissa riittää ihmeteltävää.
