Lousy experience -Construction Noise!

The hotel is undergoing extensive renovations, and its construction materials are everywhere. The gentleman who checked me in was friendly enough, but after working all day Friday and Saturday, I was looking forward to sleeping in, in the morning. Still, instead, I was awakened at 7:15 am Sunday by construction workers stomping loudly on the roof directly above my room, followed by the excruciatingly loud noise of two gasoline generators and air compressors. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the young lady at the front desk, she was apologetic, but basically acted as if it was too bad and I just had to deal with it. There was no notice in the hotel listing that it was undergoing renovations, nor was it mentioned during check-in that I would be awakened early Sunday morning with construction noise. I am incredibly dissatisfied with my stay. I hope Hotels.com isn't in the habit of purposely withholding important information like this.

he rooms were so spacious and everything seemed brand new. And the staff really went above and beyond to accommodate and make us feel welcomed. 10/10 would def stay again. It’s also just a 12 - 15 mi drive to HB, very central location. Lots of options for food, bar and grocery stores in the immediate surrounding area.

Say No to Costa Mesa Inn

The front staff was rude upon exit; the manager kept my cash deposit saying I destroyed hotel property by using the towels to clean up a mess as well as falsified a photo of a black stain on the bed we had used to sleep in. I am a very clean person and would never leave a room I rent, dingy motel or not, worse than I came.

Would Stay Here Again!!

The remodled rooms give this place a brand new look with a refreshing vibe that makes you feel at "home" while away from home. The bar is convenient to play pool, darts and have a good time.
