Hotels with Shopping in Canterbury

Comfortable clean rooms and a great location with easy walk to all the city centre activities and sights.

I arrived on time for check in at 2pm but they made me wait another 2.5 hours before giving me the key as they said they were still cleaning it. They first said it would be 1 hour but it kept getting pushed back. So after an exhausting day driving, I had to sit and wait in the lobby. They offered to give me an extra 1 hour checkout time but I couldn’t use it due to time restraints anyway so wasn’t very helpful. Also I organised a room with the lake view but my view was a tiny sliver of the lake that could barely be made out, my main view was a car park. I didn’t realise but the resort isn’t even lake front like they suggest, the main highway is actually between the lake and the resort. The apartment is a bit of a frustrating set up as well. Bedrooms and toilet is downstairs and living room is upstairs so wasn’t ideal for my older mother. Otherwise, clean and very modern.

Great location for shops and city centre.
