Beautiful hotel with such delightful and helpful staff. Elaine Dai and Jeff in Concierge were especially notable for their assistance. Carly took us on the Saturday morning historical tour of the hotel and did an amazing job. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff who made our stay in San Francisco so special and enjoyable!

From the moment we stepped into the Fairmont, the experience was positive. Front of house staff were helpful and polite. We had an excellent sized room overlooking Alcatraz. Inclusive breakfast featured a fantastic spread of bagels, sourdough, croissants, eggs and fruit. They are a five star boutique hotel in every category.

"Inside was fairly clean. The outside could use a power spray cleaning at least every week from the smell of urine. Luggage Staff was extremely helpful. Check-in Staff that helped me could be more friendly to encourage customers to come back. Overall stay was okay to good."
