The idea of an American buffet is, a variety and unlimited portions — you pay one price and eat as much as you want. I went to get some fruit and pastries after finishing my breakfast, but a Hispanic waitress stopped me and said, ‘I didn’t give you that to-go box for taking another meal with you.’ That wasn’t what I was doing — I was eating it there, not taking it back to my room
