Great convenient location! It’s a couple minute walk to the train station (with no big hills or stairs). Super quick to get to the royal mile (there’s multiple “close” to cut through to get to it in a minute! Felt safe as a solo female traveller. Only downside would be that there was construction to the building next store during my stay, however I wasn’t in the room during construction hours.

Positives great location to the Royal mile and highlights of Edinburgh, comfortable say! Negatives: hotel and surrounding area are currently going through renovations, bed sheets did not appear clean, and room was quite dark. Window was facing a wall, so unfortunately no natural light was available to brighten the room.

The staff was friendly, the room was nice. Turning on the shower you get wet and it would have been nicer on the other side of the building, a lot of construction noise. I wouldn’t pay that much for that room location.

the staff was so good to me. i was bleeding heavy and was 3 months pregnant. i called staff to come help me and they got me to the hospital in a timely manner. i’m so thankful for the staff. unfortunately i did lose my baby but if it wasn’t for them responding quickly i could have lost my life as well.
