Hotels with Free Breakfast in Folkestone

Breakfast selection was standard for a HI express. Unfortunately in this hotels case, all of the bread, and especially the bread rolls were too stale to have eaten. Eating in the restaurant in the evening was a very slow process. Over 45 minutes to receive any food. Some people waited over an hour. Room was not particularly clean, debris on the carpet, and a general feeling of rushed housekeeping. Found a child’s teddy bear under the bed, and the staff couldn’t have seemed less bothered. Air conditioning in the room didn’t work, and both bedside lights were so poor that candles would have been a better option.

The breakfast was varied and plentiful as on offer is continental style as well as a full English. Coffee and tea is self-served from a machine and I think it was amongst the best tasting coffee I have experienced from a machine. The staff and in particular Max was so friendly and helpful.
