Staff are excellent - not only friendly and helpfu

Pros: Everything.
Cons: The only thing that could be improved (which isn't actually possible) would be to have the location a bit closer to the heart of George Town.
Location: Walkable access to the heart of George Town. Food market next door - best coffee ever. :-)
The staff are friendly and helpful and also show initiative in seeking to assist. I was really impressed. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. It's situation next to a local food market was ideal.

Clean Room, close to restaurants, 7-11. Centralised location making uber in and out to places so easy.

A little out of the main old town but great stay

Big rooms, very clean and comfort, modern. Little bit out of the hub, but only a short walk to Komtar and the free bus or about 20min walk to old town. Virtually next door to awesome hawker night market.

Nice hotel close to many food options

Pros: Breakfast buffet was a nice surprise and the kids loved the pool.
Cons: Pool towels available, we always had to ask.
Location: Eat!
In every direction there are different food options from this hotel, just pick a side street and you'll find hipster Nagore square, colonialism at MM (McAlister Mansion) or many different street markets. Its a bit of a walk to the free bus if you have a stroller as the path isn't consistent but otherwise us and kids had a great time.

Glowing time in Penang

We enjoyed Chinese New Year based in this hotel. It is an easy stroll to Komtar bus station and a good base to explore Georgetown. We have already recommended it to our friends.
