This is a wonderful place to stay!! The host is fantastic. If you have an issue, don't wait to complain in a review, just hit him up and anything will be addressed, so good. It is up the mountain a bit but I enjoyed that, while very close to the good stuff in helen. We even had some visitng bears hitting up the trash can..lol. Don't leave ANY food or good smells in your vehicles..fyi. The fireplace was awesome sauce and all was clean and the couches were sooo comfy. Very quite, safe, secure and peaceful place to stay. The balconies are up in the air, also cool. There is also a guest book that people jot down their experiences in which was great as well. It was a great time, we can't wait to go back, thanks Dale!!

Pet friendly however my only issue was no grassy area anywhere for them to potty unless you walk them up the hill to the community center. House was clean and comfortable. And the host is amazing. Great location for a visit to Helen.

Dale was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was perfect, much better than a hotel. The setting was peaceful and beautiful but close enough to the activity of Helen. The the inside was clean and had the amenities we needed, the fireplace was a nice extra relaxing touch. Will definitely stay again!

Even though there are neighbors, it felt as if we were secluded and in the woods. Paved (steep) roads were nice and very close to everything. A very comfortable place to stay.

PROS: Location, close to everything, Beds, very comfortable. A/C, works excellent. Area, quiet with beautiful trees. CONS: Needs updating. Carpet is stained. Underlying bad smell. Cleaners left their bag of trash on the counter. No place to walk pets except in the road. Pool not usable. Here was my dilemma - Dale is an EXCEPTIONAL host, you won't find better. Unfortunately, I can't give this place that rating. I really debated whether to even leave a review but since I went off the reviews of others I felt the need to voice my true opinion.

Quiet condo outside of town,. Pool was not in working order and grill was removed.When we booked this the information stated grill and pool.Found out a week before the grill was no longer available.Arrived and pool was under repair.

Perfect!!!

We had an excellent girls weekend!!! Two senior ladies & 2 college age ladies. We arrived on Thursday, went tubing on Friday morning before it got busy, shopped on Saturday, listened to live music on Saturday night & laughed all weekend. The younger ones wanted to ride the mountain coaster but because we didn’t get there early there was a long line so they elected for us to do more shopping!!! Our host was amazing & the rental was perfect. Us older ladies took 1 bedroom/bath & the younger ones took the other bedroom/bath. There was plenty of room for us to relax & play games at night at the large table. This rental was exactly as described & we couldn’t have been happier. It is in a gated area & is VERY quiet. We intended on enjoying the pool, but we didn’t so I can’t speak about that. We stopped in Cleveland to pick up food/drinks/snacks since there isn’t a large grocery store in Helen. There’s a small one but I’m sure they only have your basic needs so make plans to get these things on your way. Thank you Dale!!!! You were fantastic!!!!

Beautiful, peaceful getaway spot

This was a fantastic location; close to everything, but in a gorgeous wooded area with a stream running through it. Spectacular views from the balconies. It was so quiet and peaceful! We felt very safe. The home is comfortable and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!
