We absolutely loved our stay here. The front desk was incredible and very accommodating. We had a plug shortage in the bathroom and we let the front desk know and it was fixed within the hour. The location is also walking distance to everything— bars, food spots, and the beach! Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here before and it has been amazing. However, this time around, we were only coming through for one night and none of the major amenities were available, the bar “Lei Stand” was closed til 10:30pm, the pool was closed til 9pm and the Izakaya restaurant was closed til 10:30pm. I feel like it would only be fair to advise guests prior to them booking/checking in. Also, I was charged the resort fee, wasn’t able to use my $40 food and beverage credit due to the restaurant and bars in the hotel being closed during normal hours after check in. I believe I should get a refund of at least half of my resort fee.

Hotel in a great location just a few steps from the International Marketplace. The rooms are clean but the sliding doors leading to the terrace could benefit from a refresh. Aircon is adequately powerful and silent. It can be a bit noisy at night if the room is on a lower floor (nearby road and the music from the bar on the ground floor). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Joseph and his bubbly personality, who made our stay more pleasant.

I was charged a $500 smoking fee even though no one smoked in the room. There was no warning, no proof, and nothing mentioned until checkout. When I tried to dispute it, the staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this is a recurring scam they pull on guests. Avoid this place at all costs.

I enjoyed my stay overall. The staff were friendly and helpful. The initial room I was booked for was a bit messy with hair on the towels, rough sheets, and I noticed a small bug under the sheets on the mattress cover. A staff member was kind in upgrading my room and that one was a lot cleaner and sheets/ bed were comfortable. I also liked the location and how close it was to everything.

I’m sharing my honest impressions of my stay — the good, the not-so-good, and everything in between. Starting with the positives: The decor and overall vibe were great. Though the building shows its age, the rooms and lobby have been thoughtfully updated. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Waikiki. Free Wi-Fi and in-room essentials like coffee and tea were also appreciated. Now for the drawbacks: Parking is valet-only and quite pricey. Since it’s managed by a third-party vendor, the hotel staff distances themselves from any issues — and unfortunately, the service during my stay left much to be desired. Street-facing rooms are extremely noisy at all hours; even with the windows shut, the sound level is intense. Earplugs are absolutely necessary if you want to sleep. Adding to the experience was a 5 a.m. fire alarm evacuation — not the hotel’s fault, but certainly memorable. As for the staff, service was hit or miss. Some were friendly, others less so. There was little to no service recovery when my rental car keys were misplaced by the valet. It took two days, a locksmith, and several calls between the valet manager and the rental company to sort it out — very stressful. On top of that, housekeeping entered my room twice before checkout, asking when I was leaving, which felt intrusive. In the end, I’m walking away with mixed feelings. While there were some high points, I’ll likely explore other accommodations on my next visit.
