Location is great. Central in Waikiki. Shops and eateries just across the street. Be careful of the resort fees - another 350 usd on top of the room rate and not quoted in advance.

I had too many problems with my room, we were locked out for a long period of time, when I used my steamer the outlet for the bedroom side would shortage. Nina was great and Grant with everything, I did not like the one who check us in and he took sooooo long just to check us in. Check in should not take that long especially with flights that are long people just want to rest. Overall everything else was great, every thing was walking distance and the beach was too, Valet is expensive a day, $300 for 5 days, a lot of dining options and felt safe and not overly loud and crazy.

My husband and I stayed 7 nights at Waikiki Romer House. Its location is good, only a few blocks from shopping, restaurants and the beach. The front desk personal was very courteous and greeted us each time we walked by the desk. Our rooms ac only worked half our time. We did call down once and the maintenan I need to do this

We stayed at the Romer House Waikīkī while visiting Oahu for the first time. Location was good, felt close enough to all the amenities, beach etc. We were able to walk most places comfortably. The hotel itself was quite nice aswell, recently renovated and each room had its own A/C unit, being able to access our own A/C and set it how we wanted was really a plus. Coming back to the room was so refreshing after being in the sun all day. Hotels

Don’t

Room was a bit dirty. I couldn’t check in at 3 pm and had to wait for the room, didn’t look like they actually cleaned it. Housekeeping came the next day, they barely made the bed, and left a pillow on the floor and the others on top of my suitcases. And threw some towels on the bathroom floor. The pool was like bath water, no vibe. If you’re looking for an adult only hotel, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Don't be fooled! This property is a bit of a joke really. The only positive are the rooms are newly renovated and lovely. The negatives are aplenty! The $45.00 per night "resort fee" is ridiculous. There is literally nothing there. The pool is a glorified hot tub. The photos are deceptive at best. The pool is 3'11" deep and maybe 10 feet wide. It is so hot that it is not refreshing at all. The "backyard is a bit of a parking lot with a couple of lines of lounge chairs and a few cabanas. The restaurant has about 10 items for breakfast and a Japanese dinner menu and that is it. There is a "lounge" I think, it was guarded with curtains that were never opened and sign saying reservations were required and a 90 minute time limit so kind of ridiculous. The lobby is freezing cold and very uninviting with almost no place to sit. The hallways are extremely dark and kind of dreary and the elevators are antiquated, scary and small. The front desk staff were hot and cold, some were amazing and others were horrible and rude. The shower is a rainfall shower and you could literally wash better in the rain the pressure is so low. There is only housekeeping every other day so for our 4 night stay we had our room "serviced" once. The bed was made and that was it. The towels that were on the floor in the bathroom were taken but nothing was replaced, the coffee wasn't replaced and the dirty mugs were left. Shame on you Romer House for your terrible hospitality.

In the middle of Waikiki! Perfect for walking!

Romer’s was perfect for us. It’s right in the middle of downtown Waikiki, a block from the International Marketplace. Everything is within walking distance, including the beach. We will probably stay there again.

Decent Experience

I want to give this hotel credit because it’s clear that they were really trying. The decorations/style and vibe that they are going for were that of a trendy, boho boutique hotel. Every employee that I interacted with was incredibly nice and welcoming. The pool area was disappointing: the pool is actually a very large hot tub and they don’t get the best sun exposure. The “restaurant” had a very limited menu for breakfast. I’m vegan so I couldn’t get anything, but my husband ordered eggs and they came out runny. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. I think we got what we paid for when it comes to price.
