Good for the price

We had a nice stay here. This is our second time since they did some renovations a while back and it is good for the price. That being said this is a $60 dollar a night hotel. It's not the Hilton so if your looking for that experience then keep searching. What we do enjoy is a great value at $60 per night. Very comfy bed and pillows that have always been very cleen. It is somewhat updated but it has been updated on on a budget. The breakfast was decent and had waffles. The pool and hot tub are nice. Areas of improvement would be that we had a slow check-in, room keys deactived multiple times and we had to go get new ones. The staff accidently checked our room out to someone else during our stay. We were at lunch when the other guests entered our room. That could have been awkward if my wife and I were in the room at the time. Fortunately all of our belongings were safe and the staff made us aware that there was a mistake when we got back, rather than trying to hide it. I appreciated the honesty. It's a decent place for the money but they have some kinks that they can work out.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms and common areas are clean. The breakfast buffet is only fair. They ran out of something every day. While clean, there is a lot of wear and tear on the walls and furnishings. Time for some refurbishment.

There were several things that added up to this not being an enjoyable stay. When we first got into the room and lifted the covers from the bed, there were dark curly hairs on the fitted sheets. This is just disgusting. Were the sheets changed from the last person? Do they just overload the washer so it doesn't wash properly? The chair at the desk was broken, it leaned to the left, making it diffucult to sit in, and the desk was missing a back wheel so it also had a lean to it. I work from a laptop when I travel, so this was inconvenient. The hot tub was broken. The water was cold and turning the dial for jets did nothing. The pool and the not-hot tub were both cloudy looking. This was disappointing for my wife and I since the hottub was a factor for renting a room at this hotel. Then, at the breakfast buffet they had tea packets, but no hot water. They had coffee, decaff, and juices. No water, no hot water. How was my wife supposed to make an herbal tea without hot water? The man running the breakfast bar was on his phone one morning in the back room and had the speaker on the phone turned on very loud. He was on the phone for a good 7 minutes with the woman he was talking to, not bothering to lower his voice at all during the call. It was just weird. Overall, a disappointing weekend stay for my wife and I.

The room was horrible is like it wasn't finished. No night stands. The tub is peeling . Outlets didn't work. Breakfast was supposed to be till 9 but they ran out of food at 8 and no one knew what to do.

This property is in the middle of a management change and the rooms are rundown and trashy. The first room they tried to put us into was missing nightstands and a fridge. The second room had a heater from 90’s and it was broken. The third room had a working heater and a fridge but was missing a bathroom door, ooops. We ended up leaving the property and going across the street to the Hampton Inn. My mom chose to stay and in the morning they were running out of food during breakfast.
