Marriott Hotels & Resorts - accommodation in Interlaken

I arrived to the hotel around 9:30pm and I asked the young lady front desk agent if the restaurant was still open. She responded that it hasn't been open since July in a nasty tone like I was supposed to know that. I then asked her if she had any recommendations of where to eat and she simply said no. Before getting in the elevator I asked her if there was water in the room which the answer was also no. At the moment I decided to check online and there was a bar a block away that gave me some water. When I return back to my hotel room I noticed my TV didn't work, it had no channels and the remote had limited functionality. So I went back to the front desk, the same agent dressed in a hoodie ready to leave expressed that she didn't know how to fix a tv, she then suggested I went up to my room to see if it was magically working now; it wasn't. I went back down and she gave me keys to a new room. While the new room did have a working tv, it had an horrible smell, dusty coffee machine and a phone with no buttons. I tried dialing out and it definitely didn't work which is concerning if you don't have your own phone. To conclude this hotel should not charge more than $50 per night, they have zero amenities, unprofessional staff and the advertisement is very misleading.

It was a pleasant first stay. Staff was friendly. Tower view from our room was nice.

The property always meets my expectations. The staff is wonderful.
