Rooms were very clean and nice. I stayed in queen bed which is enough large. One improvement opportunity could be breakfast, its lettuce salad was not very tasty. A paper napkin or something equivalent to bring the hot coffee back to the room will be helpful.

Decent budget hotel

This is a definite budget hotel. I had not really expected that and was initially disappointed. However, considering the price, I think it was fair value. There is no real lobby--just tables and uncomfortable straight chairs that serve as the breakfast room. We left our luggage around noon because rooms are not ready at that time, and we returned at 3:05, expecting to check in. However, check-in is not until 4:00 p.m. unless you pay an extra 1500 yen for "early" check-in at 3:00. We waited. The room was tiny, and there was a notice that luggage could be stored under the bed. That's not very convenient since you have to "live" out of your suitcase while there (there's no storage). Everything needed is provided, but very budget level. The toilet paper is thinner than single ply. However, lighting is good. Beds are very hard. My wife had to sleep with her suitcase in the bed with her. The bath was too small for two people at one time. The shower was good, but it uses the water from the sink, meaning that you can't use the sink while someone is showering or using the tub. Location is good, convenient to the train station. Personnel is very pleasant. I would give it a qualified recommendation if you know you're getting a very budget hotel.

Great place with some odd flaws

Great place. Came half an hour early before check-in time but was told that I needed to buy this membership card if I wanted to check-in an hour earlier. I thought that was odd. They also called us exactly at 10am to checkout. They are very strict with time lol. The toilet was also continuing to flush water for unknown reasons. Despite the reception person coming in to fix it, few flushes later it happens again. Environmental poo poo

Good breakfast, side dish changes everyday. Very close to JR Kobe station, walking distance to Kobe harbour. If you opt for no housekeeping, they will still leave you fresh towels everyday at the door. Family mart just beside the hotel for late night supper options!
