Close to markets, shops and laundry. Free shuttle to metro. Nice pool and gym. Free use of cell phone with free calls and data. Lifts slow.

Our room was manageable for 3 adults and a toddler. The Staff were very attentive and assisted us with what we needed. The Breakfast buffet was a good selection of food, and the freshly made omlettes,or eggs done which ever way you wanted was nice as well. The proximity to the MTR was about a 15 minute walk to You Ma Tei MTR Station and buses outside were very easy to get to. There is also a free Airport Shuttle Bus outside the Hotel - which takes you to Hong Kong Station to then pay to use the airport train. The Hotel's shuttle bus does not allow luggage onbboard, but it is convenient to get to Mong Kok MTR and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations. There were a few restaurants/cafe's nearby also a 24hr Store across the road. The only downside to the hotel was that it was advertised that they had a laundry onsite, but this is not true. The upside is that down the road - approx 5 min walk after 8pm there is a self service laundromat open all night, during the day they can do it for you, but after 8pm till the next morning trade it is self service.

Old

Hotel is old. Small rooms but clean. Lifts are slow and there is the smell of old carpet and smokers everywhere. Staff are nice to talk to. Price is high for value so for the same money look for a newer hotel with views.

Sagging mattresses

Pros: Free hotel shuttle, buses and trains nearby, free mobile phone on loan, supermarket across the road, HK style cafes and a bakery downstairs
Cons: Mattresses and room size
Location: 15 mins walk to MTR stations
We had stayed at this hotel before so when a cheaper option was not available, we did not hesitate to stay here again. We requested firm mattresses for both my husband and myself. To our shock and horror, they placed a plank on top of each of our sagging mattress, making it impossible to sleep on. We requested having the planks removed and the mattresses replaced. They removed the planks and placed an oversized foam overlay on each of our beds. The overlay shifts as we roll in our beds. Not happy, especially when we had to put up with it for 8 consecutive nights.
