Townhouse in quiet neihborhood with large common area and view of Whiteface. Close proximity to Olympic venues, Cross Country Skiing, Main Street Shopping and access to free public transportaion via the Lake Placid Xress (see schedule for details). Walking distance to restaurants and convience store. as well as park on Mill Pond and new ADK Rail Trail.

Great Men’s Ski Trip

RELAXING

An extremely comfortable, exceptionally clean and roomy townhouse, with attention to the "Adirondack-decor" everywhere one would look. It is an adorable townhouse to rent. The hosts were easy to contact, very nice and provided detailed information about the area and their property. I/we were all thoroughly pleased, and thank the owners.

Great Space & Location

Great space for a large group (7 adults + 1 kid), great location in town. We all had our own spaces, but the common space on the main floor (kitchen/living room) was comfortable and great for us all to hang together. We didn't cook any meals besides breakfast, but kitchen seemed stocked well enough.

Beautiful house.

This was an amazing find and a beautiful place to stay. We came in for the 2nd week of the Lake Placid Horse show. The house was only 5 minutes from the show grounds. When we arrived the house was clean and very welcoming. If I had to say anything that was missing was small trash cans in the bedrooms. Other then that we had the best stay. And we hope to be back next year.

What a great location. Clean, comfy, and relaxing. It’s close enough to town and yet far enough away to be able to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains and the community! Ironman Lake Placid

We had a wonderful stay at Fir Way, the location was perfect for the race! The unit was bright, comfortable and well equipped. The community was peaceful and the view of Whiteface from the porch was great! George was very easy to get in touch with and a pleasure to rent from. We would love to stay again some time!

Spacious & clean

Very nice property. We enjoyed our stay. Nice view of Whiteface. They only have a Keurig for coffee. Luckily we had brought a French press with us as the Keurig coffee was hidden away in a cabinet above the fridge and we didn't find it for a few days. There are no Grilling tools so make sure to bring your own. There were only 5 of us but we quickly ran out of toilet paper so make sure to bring extra. It's a bit further from town than I would of liked but all in all it is a nice place to stay.

this is the 2nd time we have stayed at #36. it was very clean and the view of the mountains was great. everyone had their own space if needed, which is a big plus. it also is convenient to town for shopping, restaurants and of course walking. definitely will stay again.

perfect getaway

The townhouse was very clean and comfortable. It was close enough to the town as we could walk there. It is situated close to various sites and it was easy getting around. The multi levels of the townhouse allowed us to either be together or find a quiet place by ourselves.

Great place to stay in Lake Placid

House looked just as pictured. Very nice area. Close to downtown Lake Placid and walking distance to some restaurants. 7 of us stayed here 5 adults and 2 children who loved the games and the foose ball table.
