Feels relaxing as soon as you arrive lovely gardens 2 fantastic pools family one has slides and a small sand area for the children to play in. Across the rd from beach.Great breafast everthings on the menue.A great area for restaurants and shops.A friend and I have been to this property twice we up graded to the garden cottage this trip, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.Beds were a bit firm for our liking and we had an ajoining room walls are paper thin.People arrived late one night a couple of nights before our holiday was to end. They had a baby and it was unsettled such ashame we could hear all the crying.

The customer service is terrible. Staff at reception will not even make local calls for their guests. We had a bag missing and needed to ring the airport and they would not help us at all, even though I had a distressed friend. This was the second time I have stayed at the resort and the second time we have hated the lack of customer service, such a shame as they charge top dollar and have nice facilities yet the staff let the resort down.

We take your feedback very seriously in particularly about our staff. I hope you will consider this as isolated case and not reflecting the whole culture of Bali Mandira. In the past, we are very proud of our staff who received a lot of compliments about their friendliness and helpfulness. Rest assured, I have shared your feedback to related department head to ensure appropriate training to be conducted. We can understand your stressful on arrival, as being arrived late evening with having bag mixed up with other passenger of course it is really distressful. Meanwhile at the same time our reception can not help much because nobody pick up the phone at airport lost & found. However it is good to know that the next day our reception was able to reach lost & found department to solve the problem. Once again thank you for staying with us and we do hope you still give us opportunity to hosting you back so we can redeem ourlself with better service. Best regards Wayan Sunatha Operations Manager

My 19th visit in April/May 2019 since 1997 and every year it has been upgraded and now has amazing facilities. I adore the the hotel, especially the gardens and pool, adjacent to the beach which stretches for kilometres, and there are many cheap restaurants and shops/stalls within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. The extensive staff is amazingly warm and welcoming, from management down to chefs, room attendants, engineers and gardeners. I go to Bali Mandira alone, now in my 70's, and feel so secure in the hotel and up the street, even after dark. It is my home away from home, and they treat me with love and respect, (I feel a bit like the Queen, not just just because I am a loyal long-term visitor, as they have been so wonderful since I first arrived in 1997) . And they treat all Bali Mandira visitors like that. Love it and highly recommend it. Will be there again in October, my usual time but couldn't resist 2 visits this year xx

The property was a lovely design, very Bali, and the gardens were beautiful. The room was very old and dated. The sink didn't empty properly, the toilet and shower would run occasionally on their own. This is all due to the age so probably not a lot could be done. The chairs on the terrace were very uncomfortable but were standard issue so nothing again could be done.
