The staff were so helpful. They made our special occasion stay even more special. The only downside was breakfast on the Sunday morning when all the coffee machines weren’t working. Also, one of the lifts wasn’t working for three nights. Having said that, I would highly recommend Holiday Inn. It is a great hotel!

Room was average at best but definitely not worth the money. We were talked into an upgrade which also was absolutely not worth it, dread to think what the room would have been like if we didn't upgrade. The room was very dark even with all the lights on, plus one light above the bed didn't work. Bathroom door lock was broken too, not a big deal but not great for a superior room. One day housekeeping didn't clean the room by the time we arrived back home at 5pm. When we called to ask for the room to be serviced they did arrive quickly. The surrounding area of the hotel is nice, near High Street Kensington, and there are decent seating areas in the foyer and reception. Would I use it again? Not at the same price, could have found much nicer hotels for the same price and even nearer central London.

I dint make breakfast I had been v sick though the night and the morning . All the staff were so kind especially the head of security and a guest who was a pilot who help me when I became faint and wouldn’t leave me until a member of staff arrived to help .

Great location for the Kensington high street tube station (circle/district line) Room was adequate for what we needed - some may say a little small but we were fine. Annoying only one plug by kettle / fridge so had to unplug fridge to boil kettle. Loved that could open windows for fresh air. No usb charging so remember to bring the plug also. Room was clean and ‘made’ each day - not new linen though during 3 night stay which is fine but noticed as same stain on pillow case there each day. Funny / off smell from drain either in shower or sink which was a little off putting but kept window open to air out. Lifts in hotel took an age to come up or down so ok for us on first floor we just used the stairs but would be annoying on higher floors. Man who checked us in was friendly and concierge who took luggage for our last day out too. One lady was a bit short / sharp with my friend when she asked a couple questions on our last night. Pool was nice (a little cold and a bit of a shame when half of it taken up for swimming lessons) jacuzzi nice and warm but maybe need more of the jet cycle going. Sauna lovely and steam room too (steam room could do with a bit more light) Would stay here again.

I’ve stayed at this property many times in the past and have always enjoyed my visits, but unfortunately, this stay fell far below the standards I’ve come to expect. When I got to my room, it was absolutely freezing — almost as cold as outside. I tried to call reception from the room phone, but it wasn’t working. I ended up having to go downstairs in person to report the issue, which completely disrupted my evening. I encountered a maintenance staff member in the hallway, who agreed to check the thermostat. He was surprised at how cold the room was and tried to fix the issue but ultimately advised me to go back downstairs to report it. A portable heater was then brought up, which I appreciated, but it was not powerful enough to warm the room and has made little difference to the temperature. I had  to stay wrapped in blankets and my dressing gown with the hood up just to keep warm. Even my nose and hands were cold — it was genuinely uncomfortable. To make things worse, there was barely any toilet paper (around one-fifth of a roll), and because the phone wasn’t working, I couldn’t even call down to request more. It also seemed like this room might not be used often — even the TV was switched off at the mains. This experience really spoiled what should have been a relaxing stay. I emailed management whilst at the property to complain and they never replied or came to my room to resolve the issue. I’ve also contacted customer service, who have not resolved my issue

The room was small - enough room for me to just squeeze my average sized body between the bed and the wardrobe, but tbh as I was one person, it didn’t matter that much. Breakfast was lovely with fresh pancakes and perfect pastries. Service was excellent. It’s a busy hotel but they pull all staff so you don’t queue for more than a couple of minutes.
