Our room was larger than the last time we stayed here which was good. Staff were friendly & efficient. Unfortunately on our departure date 22/9 there was no water to our room so we couldn’t shower, make a cup of tea or flush the toilets.

We paid for a premium room with a king sized bed, the room was lacking compared to the brochure images, the bed was about the size of a Good double (to say a queen size would be generous) the receptionist, when asked if there was a mistake in the room and bed allocation, informed me that it was an English king size bed (I am English, I own a queen sized bed that is bigger) images can be provided, the stocked fridge contained a tube of Pringles and a chocolate bar, there were no chairs or a table which made room service a bit of a challenge, the breakfast was just passable, all in all we will not be using Holiday Inn again. We suspect we were given this as an alternative to the room we bookend as the welcome message on the TV was in someone else’s name, we were told they were having technical difficulties with the system, we have our doubts about that excuse. Our next visit we will spend a little bit more for hopefully a nicer hotel.

The room size was ridiculously small for a King Room. No space to move around . The bathroom was so tight, you could barely move without hurting yourself. The elevators for the size of the hotel, were insufficient. Overall, not satisfactory at all.

The on site dining options are limited to a menu in the bar. Breakfast buffet is good but expensive. The onsite Starbucks has few options and closes early. Uber eats is the only option within 4 blocks after 8. The hotel is in a residential area so it’s quiet but everything is a few blocks walk back to the Main Street, buses, shops, dining. Not convenient for anyone with limitations!

Had a king bed standard room on 7th floor. VERY VERY small accommodation and TINY sink without counter space. This is smaller than a cabin on cruise ship. Could barely open exit door because of 2 suitcases. No drawers. Quiet and with a building view. Staff nice and lobby with good amenities. Great location. Tolerated the room for one night and because we were tired. Would request a better room next time or upgrade. Breakfast with good options. Elevator small and only fits 4 people without luggage.
