Proximity to T2 is good. Cheaper for two people to share a taxi than shuttle, just ask for an electric vehicle to make it sustainable. Bar was open and serving food which is important and appreciated at 10pm. Aesthetics are grand but 80s which had gave an unconscious retro vibe.

The complimentary drink was tea of coffee or wine so though I received vouchers I didn’t use. The bed was sublime especially the pillows like sleeping on a cloud. Reception staff were lovely helpful and polite the bar service not so good a bit chaotic but that an airport hotel would I stay again absolutely

We booked the Blu because it had an airport transfer service from 4 am. only to find that it only whent to terminals 2, 3, and 5 and not 4- which is where we needed to go. We were told the 'Terminal 4 is not really a part of Heathrow as it is so far out' and that we would need to go to terminal 2 or 3 and get the train to terminal 4. All together this would take about an hour so we had to book a taxi which would take 10 to 15 minutes to get to Terminal 4 at a cost of £25.

Everything was fine with the hotel except my check-out. I had an early check-out and asked for some water to drink and the staff member reacted in a surly and unhelpful way. Maybe he was tired?

Check in speed, misrepresentation as to the time to get to Heathrow. You should also advise customers never to stay with you on Saturday nights for Sunday flights, it does not work well.

This was our third stay there in 3 months and on this and a previous trip the safe in the room did not work. It took over an hour to sort it out last time so this time we didn’t use the safe as we didn’t have an hour to waste. The heating wasn’t good in the room and despite increasing the temperature on the dial it remained cold throughout our stay. Finally there was a long hair in the bath. We both have short hair
