Ready for selfies but not for sleep

Let me start by saying the staff was great. The place was clean. The lobby is very in stagrammable with several spots to take cute studies. The self check in took a bit for me to figure out but I'm not very bright. The room was about the size of a cruise ship cabin and came with an iPad to control the TV and lights. The dongle on the recharger broke immediately when I tried to put the iPad away. The room was decorated in a retro future design that reminded me of "A Clockwork Orange". Which is a choice. The bed was basically a futon on a box spring. Which is exactly as uncomfortable as a futon on a box spring. I like a firm mattress but this felt like sleeping on a piece of wood. I can't back to my room late, I could barely keep my eyes open, but I was unable to sleep in this bed. A hotel room needs to be clean quiet and comfortable. This is not a situation where "Two out of three ain't bad".

Not a big fan of the downtown area, but hotel is great. Common areas are so stylish and comfortable, great service. Room has everything you need and the bed was most comfortable - best sleep ever! Great service and smooth self serve chech in/out process.

The vibe is so different here, it’s so artsy and beautiful! I love all of the ambience and details. Having a bar/restaurant open 24/7 on premises was a plus. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful.
