Really comfortable beds, close to train station with a general shop 2 mins away. Perfect location to walk to all the lovely dinner options and beautiful walks over the old bridges.

You are greeted by a restaurant employee where we left our bags basically next to the kitchen. There is a self check in to verify your info, in front of steps and climb up to first floor where our room was situated. The room is basic hostel minimal look but super clean and comfortable beds. It was a good value for the money as the location was perfectly situated in the old town area.

The area and rooms are great here! It is in the heart of Luzern and in a pretty square of the town. My only complaint is that the “luggage storage” option is just to leave your bags in the restaurant downstairs which we were not comfortable doing. Other than that this hotel is great!

Was a convenient hotel in the middle of old town Lucerne. Self check in was very easy. Room was basic, but met our needs. There was no elevator from ground floor to first floor, but we were made aware of this when booking.

The hotel is ideally located in the old town, offering a significant advantage for guests. We booked the superior room, which has windows facing the street—a feature that is particularly useful during warmer months given the absence of air conditioning. As our visit was in September, temperature concerns were minimal. The beds were really firm, with mattresses made from standard foam material.

Great little hotel in a good location

This hotel is in a great location in walking distance for sightseeing and eating. the only thing missing was air conditioning, a fan was supplied.

Hotel Le Stelle is a really great budget friendly option if you don’t need the amenities of a regular hotel. Checkin was self service. I’ve never done that before, but it worked just fine!! The location is right in the middle of the old town, it’s walking distance from the train, and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Our room was immaculately clean and looked out onto a square. The room is basic, but comfortable. It had a kettle, fridge and great shower! It’s all we needed for a 2 night stay in Lucerne without breaking the bank. Highly recommend! Very happy!

The location of the hotel was outstanding!! Could've have asked for a better location. The room however was quiet small, height wise. Anyone over 5' 11" will be hitting there head on the ceiling. Fan in the room was broken so it got quite hot during the day and even. Bathroom was dirty and had stains up and down the walls. If the location wasn't as good as it was we would've ask for a refund and changed hotels

This property's location is really good, right in the middle of the old town, very charming and walkable, 5 mins to the Lucerne's famous wood bridge. There are shops and restaurants under stairs and around the corner. I event heard Italy songs right outside my window.

Wouldn’t recommend, even for the cost savings

The check-in process was a nightmare. They said in the email that we could drop our luggage off at 10:30 but no one was there to help. They messed up the details of my reservation and it took soooo long to sort out and get me in my room. We only had 1 day to enjoy Lucerne and the surrounding area and it took 2 hours to get my luggage and room sorted. The room is in really rough shape and the overhead lights were BOTH burnt out so the only light we had in the evening was a small reading light attached to the bed. The no AC was expected but the higher than normal August temperatures made the room extremely uncomfortable. Honestly, the hassle of trying to get into this room and store our luggage safely was so rough that I would NOT recommend booking this hotel. (And I almost never leave reviews — it was truly just that bad.)

Pretty decent place, location is great. The self check in was not great though, we luckily were able to get our key card but the machine froze on us and reset. It was past midnight when we checked in so if anyone else came after us they would be unable to get their card because the machine was not working. Room was clean.
