Great, hearty breakfast with the yummiest cranberry orange muffins! Super close to bike rental. Had a room with shared bathroom and never saw another person plus bathroom was always clean! They also had 4:00 tea time with cookies and fruit available. Very affordable considering these extras. Would definitely book again.

Our stay here was excellent. The room was impeccable, (just one comment: we could have used more hooks in the room, or a closet or another dresser) the shared bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. The breakfast had quite a variety to chose from, was very fresh and flavorful! There was a tea time in the afternoon of giant freshly baked cookies and tea/coffee that really hit the spot. The staff was always available, cheery, knowledgeable, and down to earth. We loved our stay here and will stay here again nexr year!

It’s in downtown, easy stroll from the boat dock, bike rental place right around the corner. Breakfast wasn’t your ordinary “continental “ breakfast. There are 2 shared bathrooms on the 2nd floor and never even saw anyone using or waited for one. Not a problem at all which honestly was our biggest concern. Terrific staff, and location was perfect

I stayed here for opening weekend and had such a great experience! Pine Cottage is a total gem. It’s clean, super cute, and a perfect way to find a more affordable spot on the island. The beds were really comfortable, and I was honestly impressed by how nice the showers and bathrooms are. Caroline was so friendly and her daughter Josie was a lot of fun to meet. Definitely make sure to try the cheesy eggs at breakfast, and the evening teatime was such a nice touch. I loved it so much I already booked two more stays for this summer!

The porters from the ferry will bring your luggage to your room when you arrive on the island and take them to the ferry when you are leaving. Greeted by friendly staff (We had the pleasure of meeting Clair and Cora) at the Pine Cottage. Breakfast is amazing! We ate there 5 of the 6 days we were there. Easy to navigate the stairs as long as you don't have knee issues. The cleaning staff were amazing; unobtrusive and quick! Be sure to come back around 4pm for tea time and those giant cookies! We loved the room with the private bath! Claw foot tub so bring your bubble bath; You won't find any on the island! If you needed anything, just ask. We can't wait to come back!
