We liked the decorating style, but finishing touches were missing or small things weren't fixed. Paint needed a touchup in our room. The interior bathroom fixture was missing a cover. The elevator floor was filthy and full of paint splatters. And I'm big on smells - I didn't like the smell of the cleaner they used. It smelled super chemically. The breakfast was wonderful, however, and the people were very nice.

Me and my wife had a fantastic time the rooms were clean they smelled clean the rooms were well kept the pool area was well kept the pool was amazing we had a fantastic early Valentines and we are looking forward to spending another night there again in the future. This is definitely recommended.

Too many homeless people coming in and out and one passed out in the bathroom. We told the front desk but they didn't seem to care. That person could have died in there! The carpet was stained in our room and smelled. At least the sink worked this time.

Affordable Choice near Madison Airport

This is a decent choice if you need an affordable hotel near the airport. It also offers a free breakfast, gym, and pool. My room had an odd odor, probably from cleaning products. It was quiet and generally clean, (I found a hair tie on the carpet that wasn't mine) and the bed was comfortable. The property is under new management and would benefit from upgrades; the lighting isn't great, the in-room coffee maker leaked, and the heater was tempermental, and it's generally worn around the edges. I didn't eat the breakfast, which looked fairly extensive and typical quality for this level of hotel (fruit, cereal, plastic-wrapped pastries, powdered eggs, etc) and didn't visit the pool or the gym.

They are on the middle of a remodel, the "new" room did not have black out curtains and the beds are mattresses ontop of a wooden box. No box springs, SO very hard and uncomfortable room smelled like pot

Lot of remodeling is underway. Good job, so far. As expected, significant mess inside and outside. On very cold night air comes in under wall-mounted ac/heater when heat cycles off. Light from outside was even visible. Cold air rolls across carpet and into room. Stay was good, otherwise.

A couple weeks ago I needed a place to stay while I find a place to live in or around Madison, Wisconsin. I went to a few travel websites to compare hotels in the area I wanted to be. Comfort Inn & Suites at 4822 E Washington Ave. had a decent price, hot tub and free breakfast so I reserved a room for a couple nights. This place is clean, from the parking lot to the entrance, the hallways, pool and rooms. I am disabled and staff went out of their way to accommodate me. They gave me a room on first floor, close to the front of the building. Nice thought, but I am a very light sleeper and need a quiet place to sleep. A week later, I came back for three nights. When I reserved my room, I left a note requesting a quiet room at the end of a hallway. I arrived and staff told me my room was at the end of the hallway on the top floor (6th). My room is the quietest hotel room I have ever had. Assistant General Manager, Sandra Haire helped make this happen. I thank her for the quiet room every day on my way to the extensive breakfast buffet. Fresh homemade waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, toasters, three flavors of juice two kinds of milk and more, all there for the guests. A server is working all the time to keep the dining area clean and the food fresh and hot. I hope to find a place to live soon, but until I do, Sandra and her staff are going to see me on a regular basis because they all go out of their way to help make my stay a great one, from breakfast to the hot bath.
