It's a great, convenient, and affordable stay. If you love the hustle and bustle of Madrid, this is the place to stay. Rooms are small as many rooms are in Europe. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. We were late to get to our our destination. Convenient access to restaurants and grocery stores.

The room was very very small, as was the bathroom very small. The furniture was very dated and there was no air conditioning available at the time we went in mid October. Only one small window facing inside court, no breeze.

Would definitely recommend to anyone of any age. Although this is a hostal with dormitories, we were in a double rome and did not hear a sound in the 4 nights we were there even though he said it was full, staff very friendly, very convenient. No problem getting in after hours. Hot water all the time.

This hostal is on the 4th floor of a large building in central Madrid, but there is an elevator to reach it. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean. It is a good location for exploring Madrid. Lots of shopping and dining near by.

I’ve never been anywhere that I have to ring a bell to gain entrance they insisted you left your room key just felt very uncomfortable wouldn’t ever consider staying there again

The room was very tiny with a very small window opening into an inside Shute like opening. Otherwise room was clean.It was a nightmare for a claustrophobic person. There was so much noise coming from other rooms and floors that I could not sleep. The bathroom was also a small space without any window. However the staff were very professional and helpful. The price I paid for this tiny room was not justified at all. It is not a place for me to come back. Sorry but for this price I can stay in a proper hotel.

Great location with average accommodations

The hotel’s location was great, a few minutes away from the Gran Vía metro stop. There were restaurants and convenience stores in the area. The hotel was located on the 4th (5th in the USA) floor. The elevator worked well. The room was in the small side; there was not much space to move round in the bathroom. Hot and cold water was plenty. During my stay, there was frequent noise which I was not sure came directly from the hotel. The noise sounded like people doing repair or construction. The accommodations were just ok, great for value.
