Excellent location and professional service. Room was well decorated, clean and comfortable. The tradeoff of excellent location in Madrid is difficult access. We had to haul with our bags some distance before reaching the hotel. We paid for a superior room but view was mediocre. We don't particularly like the open closed format, but considering all other pluses, it was not a big deal. Overall the experience was excellent.

Noisy

For being in a classy part of town you will not get rest here. The rooms themselves are very noisy. The water would run any time someone flushed the toilet and would be very loud. You could hear all the noises coming from the staff and other guests through the hall. Also the functionality of some things were bad. Ex rain shower. The good thing about this hotel was location and the breakfast buffet.

Hotel Regina is a very pleasant and thoughtfully run hotel. The attention to detail throughout the property reflects the care and pride the hotel takes in delivering a quality guest experience. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and responsive—every request we made was handled promptly and with courtesy. The location is truly unbeatable—right in the heart of Madrid, making it easy to explore the city on foot. We stayed in a penthouse room, which was charming and featured a spacious private deck. However, we were disappointed to find that the deck offered virtually no view, which was unexpected and did detract somewhat from the experience. That said, the overall quality, service, and comfort more than made up for it, and we feel the hotel still fully deserves a five-star rating from us.

A perfect place in the center of Madrid

The Hotel Regina was amazing. I was very pleased with the location which provided easy access to Madrid. Centrally located and walkable. Vibrant and knowledgeable staff. Clean, quiet and comfortable room. Delicious breakfast buffet! Shout out to Marta at the Front Desk for her guidance and assistance during my stay! Highly recommended!!

This Hotel is by far the best however, I thought the receptionist would've waived the $25 fee for the Breakfast buffet because we arrived early and our room wasn't ready. We were booked for a 7 day stay and on the last day we weren't able to have breakfast because we left at 6 am to the airport. Overall, I enjoy the Breakfast, Cleanliness, Comfortable bed and the staff. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this Hotel to family & friends.

Terrific value for family of five!

This hotel is centrally located and very clean. The front desk is friendly, and we used the hotel's transportation service to get from the airport, which was terrific for our family of five. The breakfast buffet every morning was delicious and made an easy meeting point for a multi-generational family. The bedrooms and elevators are small compared with American hotels, but the hotel is very clean, and the roller blinds keep things quiet and dark for a good night's sleep. The nicest service was that the hotel held our big bags free of charge when we left Madrid for two nights in Barcelona. When we checked back into the Hotel Regina, we got free room upgrades!
