My friend & I recently stayed at Pindari House. When we arrived we were greeted at the door by Monika & taken on a quick tour around the property. We were lucky enough to meet Monika's fur babies Sasha,Blently & the new addition to the family Lucy! We were attending a concert at Roche Estate & unfortunately missed our bus due to traffic. Monika was kind enough to give a glass of bubbles whilst we waited for our next transportation. Monika is a very sweet lady & takes pride in what she does. The next morning we were served breakfast to fit for a king, the food was fabulous & Monika truely goes above & beyond for her guest. I would not hesitate to recommmend this accommodation! :)

Beautiful country cottage

Pros: Location, quietness, spaciousness and a lovely host.
Cons: A shade cover over the pool would be nice for those hot, sunny summer days.
Location: A 25 minute drive to the Hunter vineyards, a short 5 minute drive to Rutherford. Plenty to do and see in the Hunter region.
Lovely bedroom with super comfortable bed, en-suite that had a huge shower. Air-conditioned home was great given the 47 degree heat! Beautiful garden surrounding the cottage that is in lovely rural setting. Salt water pool was clean and refreshing. Breakfast very generous in portion size and lots of choice offered.

Hideaway Oasis

Wow!!! Where to start? A warm and friendly host with such an interesting history. Wonderful stories shared. Two of the most affectionate and beautiful dogs who don't intrude in any way. I wish my dogs were this well mannered. A breakfast banquet to tantalise your taste buds. A wonderful experience sharing a table with other guests. The house is a collection of Monika's life presented in the most inviting manner. We could've stayed for a week. We'll definitely be back.

a nice B&B in the country

Pros: no neighbours, peacefull and quiet, the room was clean and I liked the port and chocolates monica leaves in the room.
Cons: Its hard to say because this is a persons home and all her nicknacks and things she has around the place are her personal things, not offensive.
Location: Close to all the winery's and historical things.
After a long drive was nice to get greeted with a glass of champagne on arrival. The other guests were very nice and friendly, they told us about the bus to get to the winery to watch a concert and offered us a lift.Monica the hostess was nice and friendly and nothing was a bother very considerate even changing the breakfast time to suit us. If you want peace and quiet then this is the place if you want modern and you don't like dogs then don't stay here. The dogs are well trained and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. We are definitely staying here again when we do the winery tours and will look forward to having dinner here.

Country B&B in an English style. Recommend.

Pros: Clean, welcoming. Host is fully attentive to her guests.
Location: Close to to local attractions (wineries, gardens, etc). Not a huge drive, if coming from Sydney.
All guests booked very late, but our host was more than prepared for our stay. Located on a hillside, a rural property, quiet. Our room was large and clean with good sized ensuite. Caters to adults only. A great place to unwind from the bustle of the city. Pet friendly. 2x well trained, large, placid dogs share the home, but do not take over it. An agreed time for our breakfast allowed guests to meet. A cooked breakfast (consumed leisurely over 2 hours) was most enjoyable & very relaxing. Host is welcoming, organised, one who understands how to offer an experience (not just a room for the night). The nightcap & homemade chocolate at bedtime was a nice touch. We would stay there again.
