We are so pleased that you found the staff friendly as they do work hard to ensure that we provide an “effortless stay” for all our guests. I see you mentioned that the room didn’t match the photos, I went to check your specific studio apartment and the photos are a very close match to the photos on Expedia except for the carpet as we’ve had new carpet (in a lighter colour) laid throughout the hotel back in August this year.I do apologise for the fan not working in your room and I’ve already taken this to our maintenance team to have looked at, unfortunately these mechanical issues do occur from time to time without any warning for guests or our staff. You also mention other things broken in the room, would you mind replying directly to me at rdevecchi@questapartments.com.au with any feedback on what the items were so that I can get maintenance to assess and rectify asap. With smoking in the Hotel, the apartment rooms and internal common areas are all non-smoking whilst external common areas such as balconies and the BBQ terrace do allow smoking as they are outside. I do apologise if some smokers have been untidy with their cigarette butts, and yes, it’s an endless task for staff collecting these butts throughout the day. May I add that as you were uncomfortable or felt unpleasant in your room, a quick call to our friendly reception team would have sought rectify the situation by moving you to another room without much fuss. Please keep this in mind that we want you to have an “effortless experience” whilst staying with us! Thanks once again for your time, the survey score of 4/5 and the feedback you provided as it’s valuable detail that’s used to ensure that we provide a great experience to all our guests.
