Room was lovely and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly . Location is great. Close to the casino, Melbourne CBD, DFO, Tram to the city and St. Kilda. Easy walk to all the restaurants on Southbank. Only disappointment was the size of the pool. Overall our stay was really enjoyable

This hotel was spotless and had great service. The shower going hot and cold is a real issue, especially with kids. This is the only complaint about our stay, everything else such as location, layout and accessibility with a pram was fabulous.

Surprisingly disappointing

I was excited to be staying at Peppers for a weekend. Things started poorly as at check in they couldn’t take a digital card - surprising in 2025. Then they informed us that room cards are 20 dollars if lost - a lot for a piece of cardboard … ok but not what any other hotel does. Then they gave us our room (see pic). A “deluxe” room with not a foot clearance around the queen bed - not enough room for a suitcase. Personally, I find this deceptive conduct when you compare it to the deluxe room pictures on their ads. Bait and switch. Fortunately we were looking forward to the hot pool in the building which is the number 1 reason we booked the room. It was ‘Closed for maintenance’ and they were not fixing it on a weekend … better to inconvenience guests than spend a little extra to do maintenance on a weekend I guess. Overall the experience was unnecessarily disappointing and I would certainly stay at other places that offer more for the same price.
