The lady at reception was very welcoming and helpful. The room is spacious, well resourced, exceedingly clean and tidy. It is quiet and secure. I would happily stay here again. Thank you.

Everything was really good and easy. The only major challenge we had with a young child was she shower, because there is a low shelf I had to monitor him to make sure he didn't hit his head on it and the glass panel could use better water protection. Also the balcony door was totally jammed and could not be opened but this worked in our favour with a child anyway. Otherwise we would stay again

Our stay was perfect for our needs. Walking distance to Southern Cross station, tram station, QV markets & all other CBD. Loved being by the Flagstaff Gardens & the night time views from the windows & balcony. Our rooms had ample space and comfort. Even the minor discomfort caused by a broken window latch was quickly rectified by reception staff member, Angel. She didn’t hesitate to act and immediately had maintenance fix the problem.

This is our third or fourth stay at this hotel over 6 years or so and we feel it has lost its vibe a bit. Cursory nod to the theme and the room feels more bog standard corporate than it used to . Very clean and functional- but our bed was incredibly soft- ok for 3 nights but terrible for any longer . The tram stop is right there and it’s a quick walk to the markets.

Positives: - friendly staff - breakfast was good - great location - spacious room - comfy bed - gym was a nice feature To be improved: - bed sheet was stained with pink all over it (under duvet). Hotel did change this promptly when I raised it but not sure how that happened in first place. - there were also items including a lighter, 50c coin and a black object under the bed from previous guests…. Negatives: - although the room was spacious it was exceptionally dark / facing a building with no natural light. Overall I am happy for the price I paid and for the amount of space / breakfast etc which was included.
