Almost perfect!

Experience was quick, easy peasy and breezy, staff was nice and efficient, room was clean and able to check in an hour early! the only down was the alarm going off at 7am and unfortunately crew was 'unapologetic', no mention of it at check out or when ushering guests in their night clothes back in the rooms. That was a little dissapointing but not a hugh deal since I paid for.late check out and definitely my go to hotel when on sobe or other cities in the world.

i had my room changed 4 different times and no one offered me anything. Not expected but still. Also, the shower had stuff closer to the top but not too noticeable. Although, the window was EXTREMELY dusty. Staff are very nice.

Overall we didn’t have a particularly negative experience but we ran into some issues and didn’t enjoy this stay as much as we have others. I think this style of room was probably intended more for solo travelers and was a bit too small for a couple. We were constantly bumping into one another. It’s possible that portion is on me, perhaps I should’ve done more research. The staff was friendly and helpful and definitely the most redeeming part of our stay but we did have issues with some of the features. While the size of the XL king was nice we found the mattress to be stiff and uncomfortable. Both of us had difficulty sleeping as a result. The cooling feature on the iPad would’ve been nice had it given you actual temperatures rather than arbitrary descriptors like “most cooling possible.” It makes it impossible to tell whether the system was actually working and we had to call the front desk to cool our room down despite it being on the lowest cooling possible. At this point I am not convinced the iPad was actually connected to the HVAC system. One of the most frustrating parts of this stay was that the WiFi wasn’t stable enough for us to stream anything our entire stay. No matter what device or app we tried we ran into constant buffering issues I haven’t seen the likes of since the 2010s. We could only watch the select few channels that they provided the entire weekend. This made it difficult to unwind at the end of the day. We will not be choosing CitizenM in the future.
