Loved my stay (which I extended) at Eden Roc. I was fortunate to have the most amazing view, and I did not want to leave. Candidly, I also needed to stay another night as the late checkout policy was not great... All the staff were very friendly. I was busy at an event so I did not take advantage of any of the amenities. I had a slight issue with the furniture/lighting in my room. And am happy I booked with Expedia at a discounted rate but overall much enjoyed.

Overall, the experience was good. Hotel is very good. Couple things that we were not happy about. We chose resort view room but it wasn’t resort view at all, there was no view at all. It was rough roof view. My husband even asked for a better room, they said it’s already an upgraded room but then where’s the view. Also, the shower faucet was so tight that we initially thought it’s stuck and called maintenance.

I enjoy the stay at the resort however I didn’t like or understand why we had to rent the cabanas for the full day then yall close at 5:30 and stop servicing us . So after 5:30 we could use cabanas with no cost because of yall being closed . I think all seating area around pool should be no cost even with the umbrellas my opinion. It should be first come first serve.Also how breakfast wasn’t included with the stay of the hotel . Other than those 2 things everything else was fine.

I am not happy with this hotel. I paid over 500 dollars a night and I asked for an ice bucket at 5 pm. At 10 pm I am told that they are too busy to honor my request. I asked them where can I get ice and they told me that only housekeeping has access to the ice machines. I had to go all the way downstairs and complain to a manger at 1030 pm I let them know that I called numerous times throughout the evening asking for ice and I was always told they are expediting my request. This is ridiculous that a highly priced resort would treat their customer like that and be so dismissive about a simple request. I am very disappointed that I had to go to such trouble to get some ice to keep my daughters liquid antibiotics cold because this hotel doesn’t allow you to use their refrigerator nor provide you with ice. I do not recommend this place.

Disappointing.

Beware! The ocean social bar doesn’t point out the 22% service charge. Which is the gratuity. They hope the patrons are relaxed and drunk enough to not notice. Concierge is worthless and they don't give you much information. You’re better off researching things yourself
