Hotel was very outdated hallway smelled like throw up. Carpet was disgusting. Pool was filthy. Literally had a film that you could see. I wouldn’t touch that pool in 200° weather when we first checked in our room was dirty so the next day we reported it, they gave us another room and the second room was dirty as well The toilet was still dirty and the tub was dirty and disgusting. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone when I went out back to smoke by the pool. There was a strange man jumping the gate and pacing back-and-forth very unsafe. I give this hotel a zero out of 10 please please save yourself some money and find somewhere safer also we went by the reviews and all the reviews seem fine, but I think that they make their own reviews honestly and on top of that that there is no elevator, we had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs very inconvenient
Just don’t. This “hotel” is a nightmare from start to finish, starting with safety, or lack thereof. There is no staff onsite, you just enter and exit through a “secure” lobby door. Would be nice if that door was actually secure. Upon coming and going, the door was not closed and locked shut well more than half the times I used it, including very late at night. That means anyone could just walk in and roam around because there’s no staff to monitor this.
Then, the room safety; yikes as well. My first room had one keypad lock handle and one slap lock inside. Both broken. The door handle portion moved all over when you would use it as it was not secured to the door. The slap lock inside was literally broken in half where it attaches to the wall. Then they moved me again. That room also had broken locks so I got moved again. This one wasn’t great but it was the best of the worst so I stayed. I did contact Expedia and the hotel management to no avail as absolutely no one cared that there was a major safety issue with the lobby door.
I also didn’t have hot water. Which was miserable. I’m awaiting a proper refund.
Terrible place!! no elevators, no AC, no parking. the hotel under construction, pool does not look operational. dirty carpets in the hall and stairs. The main entry door does not lock well, seems very unsafe.
Very good potential, but clearly a work in progress. Excellent beds. Ease of entry, check in/out, when they were around staff was friendly. No ice, water in loby was old, persistent foul smells. No information about local services.
Our room didn’t lock from inside we even explained it to the host and they told us they would come up and show us and never did.
They didn’t have laundry wash chlots, when asked the host asked me “you don’t have towels in your room” I told him yes two big towels which one I used to bathe with!
The biggest violation was the smoke detector not being in the room! Cords were hanging from where a smoke detector should of been! 0 starts don’t recommend
Okay so to be honest this was a pretty decent hotel that’s worth the money . It’s not like a pent house suite hotel but it’s really nice and I love the privacy! The employees are not hard to get in contact with, you just have to catch them in The mornings/afternoon. The rooms are modern. I love the necessities that were provided, have them bring you more towels or bring your own, the couch was also a let out as well and the bed was comfortable to sleep in and I loved the headboard! The pool area is beautiful, the pool is dirty, never seen anyone in it but it was clean enough for getting your feet wet, it’s mainly the leaves from the trees that surrounds the pool. No complaints from me.
I stayed 2 weeks on vacation. The building manager Yusmel is GREAT! He does everything. He even helped me on arrival with my suitcase going up 3 floors of stairs. He is on top of it there. I will be back. Thank you!
This was a really nice place to stay. Close to the main strip, close shopping stores and restaurants. My only complaint is the pool was not clean but the beach wasn’t far so that made up for that.
This is an Art Deco hotel but acts more like an apt. It’s currently under construction. The room was large and you could open the windows for fresh air. Linens and bed were comfy. Staff were friendly. But don’t expect room service or house keeping daily. What makes this place great is it’s location. It’s near everything. No elevator. Area around hotel is safe but could be better kept up by the city.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
I loved the location and the size of the room. I loved that there were enough towels in the room for my whole stay. There was a small fridge and a large sofa. The bathroom was large with a tub and shower combo and lots of counter space for all my stuff. the only issue I had was that the room was not soundproof. I heard every single step and this went on until 2 am. from the room above me, either it was rude quests or construction being done.
