Along with their brewing knowledge, these German immigrants imported the best craftsmen from the old country to build their stately manors. You'll see the intricate woodwork and detailing that can no longer be duplicated without spending a fortune. Paneled pocket doors, two-toned finished hardwood floors, thick crown moldings, majestic staircases, antique brass chandeliers and fancy latticework will surround you as you relax in this beautiful home.
There is space for everybody to get comfortable in the two sitting parlors. The large wood-carved table in the formal dining room will bring you together to enjoy a memorable meal. The house was as pictured, clean, and in a great location. Check in was super easy and Joe was very helpful and quickly responsive to all communication. The kitchen had everything you would need, there were plenty of towels and extra bedding. The location was a block from the river and easily walkable to downtown, breweries, restaurants, and 2 supermarkets. Laundry was a bonus.Things to note: the house is old and could use some touchups; the toiletries could be replenished with full-sized new ones; the outdoor space was not really usable.That said, we had a great time with plenty of space to be together or have some alone time.

The hosts were great! Communicated well, and made the stay very easy. The house is large and comfortable, and worked well for our group of 12. It is not elegant, and there are only two full baths, but it has everything you need, and is located close to grocery stores, making it easy for us to pick up anything we needed.
