The property, pool area and access to the beach where the only highlights of my stay. Check in process it was very difficult after a 10-hour Drive we just wanted a nap before dinner but we couldn't check into our room because of a supposed computer glitch some people for getting checked in though and they weren't able to explain it. The listing referenced newly renovated room and my room was really bad shape

Ocean Reef is right on the beach. It’s a nice property in a quiet area, but not too far from dining and shopping areas. The room was nice and clean, however the hallways, especially near the elevators could have been cleaned a little better. Breakfast was simple and good. Parking is across the street and divided into two lots and a garage. It’s a little tight and not directly near the hotel, however the hotel allows 15 minute parking for loading/unloading in the front.

We had an awful frustrating experience. We booked our room online with hotels.com. When we arrived, the front desk checked us in and then claimed our reservation was cancelled and they didn’t have any more rooms available. We never cancelled our reservation and neither did hotels.com. The front desk cancelled our reservation after they checked us in and gave our room to someone else and blamed it on hotels.com. This weekend was for my daughter’s birthday and this incident ruined it. However we were glad it happened after constantly hearing the fire alarms going off while we were sitting in the parking lot trying to get everything straightened out so we could book elsewhere. The whole experience with this hotel/resort was terrible. I’ll never book with them again.

I absolutely LOVED my stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the VIEW! Omg!!! I booked this solo trip and wasn’t going to tell anyone but when I stepped in that PENTHOUSE SUITE, I went crazy telling my friends lol. This will always be my go to spot from here on out!!! I wish I could post videos!

We Got there and had to wait over an hour for our room because we was told it wasn’t ready, tv did not work for our entire stay which was annoying, booking stated stove in room but there wasn’t one in our room. Hotel is located in great location though.

Terrible Stay

I had an incredibly disappointing experience during my stay at the resort, especially considering I was there to honor my mother's memory. Based on the resort's reputation, my expectations were high, but they quickly diminished upon arrival. From the very beginning, the check-in clerk directed me to a coworker, leading me to believe I would receive assistance in locating my room. Instead, I found myself subjected to an aggressive sales pitch, which was far from the warm welcome I anticipated. To make matters worse, the resort underwent significant construction, resulting in limited elevator access. During my stay, I experienced a harrowing situation when the elevator I was in stalled, inducing a wave of panic and distress. The staff's response was disheartening; they seemed indifferent to the anxiety this incident caused me, which added to my sense of discomfort. I attempted to escalate my concerns by requesting a call from the manager, but to my dismay, I received no follow-up. I also took the time to send a comprehensive email outlining my grievances, yet I was met with silence—an unfortunate indication of the lack of professionalism and consideration I encountered.

It was close to everything I needed. I didn’t have trouble finding parking. The staff were friendly. Overall a nice place to stay. My family and I will be returning.

The hotel was nice with friendly personnel, with great attitudes even under pressure. Additional requests were keyed in under our room number. It took an extremely long time to check in (2 hours), phone in room would not stop blinking - had to cover to sleep & light was blown in bed side lamp. Maintenance supplied a bulb for bedside lamp. The worst thing was, we asked for no housekeeping to be completed during our stay. (there was no "do not disturb" sign to hang on door). after leaving the premises and returning late in the day, we could see housekeeping had entered and emptied trashcans. Very disappointed they did not respect our privacy.

I will be BACK!

I liked the text communications throughout the stay. Wonderful staff, great location. The resort is going through renovations so of course there is noise during day but who stays in the room for extended amounts of time when you are right on the BEACH!
