The staff is amazing, very friendly, we feel they welcome us from their heart, not just a job. We really appreciated they have upgraded us to a family room, which was fantastic. We really enjoy the stay and had such memorable experience although there are few wears and tears minor issues.

The staff are great, friendly and always with a smile, very helpful. Food is typical Fiji, bland and not particularly interesting. Breakfast got abit repetitive after just 3 nights, I can't imagine staying longer. The pool, slide and inflatable obstacle is great. Kids had hours of fun there. The hotel however needs to review its policies as they do not fit what I expect a Sofitel level of brand should provide. These are all minor on their own but together, they nickel and dime alot of things that make the experience less of a premium resort. 1) kids club is $30FJD per 3 hr slot. Meals are not provided. For this hotel's price point I would expect kids club to be included. 2) not enough activiites. i understand some activites you need to charge a fee but the free included kids activites are fairly lame. Some of the adult activites looked good, e.g. cocktail class, rum tasting class, but its limited to 10pax per day. For such a large resort they could run multiple sessions. It was mostly booked out by morning of the activity. The fitness classes looked good, pilates, boxfit, walking. 3 nights was enough as there was little to do at the resort. 3) there is a pillow menu as you would expect at a premium resort. But never have i had to pay a deposit for a

Disappointing stay due to construction, room issues & poor service Unfortunately, our stay at Sofitel Fiji fell well short of expectations. There were significant construction works taking place directly next door, with no prior consultation, warning, or apology from the hotel. I strongly recommend requesting not to be placed near Block 1, as this is where the disruption was most severe. A previous Accor property in Australia offered perks as a compensation for the disruption. My sister and I were reunited on this trip (she’s live in UK) and had requested to be placed in rooms near each other. While her room (329) was very nice, this request was not honoured and I was placed in Room 202, directly beside the construction site. This room had a strong mouldy smell and damp flooring, which we initially thought was from cleaning. However, when we returned later that evening, moisture had spread to the furniture, bed, and even our suitcases. When I reported this, a maid came to mop the room and suggested it was due to our use of the air conditioning, despite the unit clearly displaying a fault warning and we had not been in all day. The following morning, I raised the issue again along with the construction noise and was moved only five doors down, still in Block 1 and still not near my sister. The new room (207) had its own issue: the main room lighting popped and sparked, which I reported as a potential electrical safety hazard. My sister arrived very early at 4am, yet staf

Fabulous in so many ways! The facilities were impeccable, spacious, tastefully decorated, beautiful pool area. The grounds were manicured and lush with tropical plants and flowers everywhere. The food was outstanding (yes expensive), 5 star buffet with so much variety and our meal at Solis was one of the yummiest we’ve ever eaten. The staff were everywhere doing jobs all day long, always greeting you with a friendly ‘BULA!’. Hard to fault!

Beautiful property. Room not as advertised: Room we reserved said “beachfront.” Our room faced a garden. We could neither see, nor hear ocean. We also had no obvious way to visit the adults only area which was substantially quieter. I felt this should have been noted when reserving the room.

Rooms are really small Hotels not really worth the money The air conditioner set on one level that’s not gonna work!!Great staff.. Restaurant food not very good.. Basically very overpriced

The room was lovely, though upgraded to a waitui room without the club access so very disappointed as the room is closer to facilities that you have to pay another 400 a day to use.. also room service smashed a glass in the room and didn't clean up properly so ended up in my foot. Hotel staff didn't really care.

It was our anniversary, the room got upgraded for free, amazing views, breakfast buffet was amazing with lots of variety, excellent customer service and a free buggy ride to our room after check-in. Everything was top notch we enjoyed our stay with you guys, see you again in the near future.
