We loved our stay in this hotel, the staff were so friendly and approachable and the room had everything we needed for a few nights stay. We were thankful for the lockers at reception as they were great for our final day. Thank you for having us.

It was a very dingy and dirty place especially for the price. I was greatly disappointed and will never stay at another Sonder property again in my entire life. Scratch, nasty stains everywhere in the room and the entire property felt very old and dirty on the inside.

Stayed here for one night when I visited NY for the US Open. Location is great; not a far walk from 9/11 Memorial, The Battery where you can take a boat ride to see the Statue of Liberty. Subway stops, drug stores, shopping, restaurants all very convenient. Hotel staff were all friendly & welcoming! Downstairs a bit dusty from construction. Room could have been more clean. Shower had a very visible hair ball sitting near drain & lids to coffee cups were covered in dust. I was not a fan of the shower design. The floor got very wet because there is only a glass wall covering half of the shower. I did not like the overhead showerhead at all. Something more adjustable would have worked better for me. Surprisingly, the room was very quiet, so peaceful & quiet that I slept in! I like the idea of this hotel. Codes were easy to use.

Room was not cleaned when I arrived, was told by staff that I would be relocated to another Sonder hotel due to not having availability at the Sonder Duane. Management was supposed to assist with the relocation, but was of no help, had to reach out to the other Sonder location in order to get any sort of traction. Would not recommend this hotel

It’s small but adequate for our one night stay. However, the AC was not cooling down the room as much as we wanted. The manager was very nice and brought us a fan which helped, but no one was available to look at the AC at that time.

The hotel rooms are very clean. Just make sure you let them know if you want early checkin orcyou may have a problem. Your code is what lets you in the building.other than that, things are very close by. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is very safe.

First and foremost, the staff and reps in the chats, and customer service for this hotel/company was top tier. When someone was at the front desk, *which was surprisingly pretty often* they were lovely. Very helpful, and really sincerely friendly. That is the ONLY reason this wasn't a 1 star, wish-it-could-be-a-zero rating, is because of them. Unfortunately, this hotel will take a lot of time, money, construction, design, and cleaning to be the hotel represented in the photos. My room smelled like mildew, -addressed IMMEDIATELY by Steven, who had exhausted other options and initiated the cancellation of the remainder of my reservation, with a full refund, no penalties. (ty, Steven;). Also, the exterior of the window was filthy, and when I turned on the air, it fogged up.ew. It was like a hostel but one with a nice bathroom, tbh. I was saving this next bit for the scathing email that I'm ready to send when that refund hits. I'll put the abbreviated version here to qualify the sad, "poor" rating.. I was awakened at 2am, by a Sonder employee from a different location, pounding on my door like a lunatic. Yes, there is more to the story- obviously. I may have made a mistake, but at the end of the day, I'm still a guest in this... place. It's a New York "Aparthotel", I mean?!! You have NO idea what people are going thru. I was so embarrassed. I couldn't get the sound of her banging with her whole back, screaming at the top of her lungs, demanding I open the door
