The room was clean and cozy. I felt safe in the hotel even though I was just there by myself. The staff were very nice, courteous and helpful. I would stay here again the next time I am in town.

Cold night in NYC.

Facility was under construction. Fire alarm went off twice. Once after midnight, and again at 7am in the morning. Staff and security were fine. No continental breakfast was available without an extra fee. Great view.

The location was great for walking all directions in the city and what we planned to do. Easy to find a taxi which was needed for us. The room was clean but the bathroom wasn't the cleanest...the bathroom had lots of hairs around the sink, cabinet, and shower that had not been cleaned. The room was a lot smaller than expected but not really a problem for us because we came in late every night and left early doing things in the city. The price was good being in New York. We enjoyed our stay but probably would pick a different hotel the next time in town. The guys at check in weren't very friendly but the lady when we checked out was pleasant.

I travel to NYC from upstate NY to get medical care at Tisch Hospital a few blocks away. I always choose this hotel because the rooms are always spotless and clean. It is within walking distance of the hospital and of Penn Station making it very convenient for anyone inexperienced with the subway. The staff is always friendly and knowledgable.
