Mid-week/weekend stay

It was alright. Typical TINY NYC hotel room. Not really clean - the pull out bed had stains on the cushions, we had ripped sheets, the dishes in the cabinet had food (a lot) on them but were put away anyway (gross). Room was an efficiency but the two pans available couldn’t both fit on the two burner cooktop at the same time. Took 35 minutes to boil a pan of water. Neither pan fits in the tiny sink, but there is a dishwasher. In the first few days (during the week), we called 5-6 times to request things like paper towels and toilet paper and they never showed up. Staff was super nice. Can’t beat the location.

The staff here is exceptional, and incredibly customer service-oriented. Hats off to GiGi in particular, who made it easy for us to make unexpected changes to our reservation, and truly made my day with her helpful and friendly approach. The rooms are clean and well-appointed for making your stay comfortable (Wood floors! Extra towel hooks! Mini kitchen with cookware! Large desk!), and the location is near lots of trains and walking distance from Broadway. Perfect for any vacation!

Hotel is very nice. We had a suite for my sister, daughter and two nieces. It was very spacious. The check in was a nightmare. The Indian woman at the desk was very very rude and dismissive. Said the room wasn’t ready then told us to wait in the lobby. I asked for waters while we waited. She asked if I was a Hilton Honor member. I said no. She gave me 2 waters! There are 5 in my group! We waited 35 minutes for the room. No apology no upgrade and certainly no water. The next morning we came to ask to leave our bags, and the hotel manager was very lovely and asked if she could give us points. My niece is a member and happily accepted. They held our bags all day and then let us use the bathroom before we left! Overall a good experience. I would say maybe tell the Indian woman at the check in that customer service isn’t really her line of work.

Good hotel

Extremely Well placed for sightseeing the whole of New York. If you don’t mind walking you can access everything from Central Park to the south of the island on foot. Close to the Hudson River for the man made beaches, high line walk or the food hall in the piers.

Dirty sheets dirty fold out couch drug users outside as well as homeless sleeping on sidewalks outside hotel. Not safe.

My stays in Homewood suites was good ,what have to improve customer service. People who do the check in should take customer service classes do not welcome you to the hotel with the very uncomfortable annoying faces do not explain anything about hotel the people who work a the breakfast in the morning are more attentive to customers the breakfast is good the rest the rooms are well stays close to times square walk many sites to eat you have Madison square gardens 5 minutes close and train station nearby and good location

The absolute best thing about this hotel was the staff! They were all super helpful and kind! The room I stayed in had a king bed and a sofa bed, and while the bed was comfortable the sofa bed was unbearable. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious as was the rest of the hotel! The hotel serves complimentary breakfast, coffee, and tea which is always a plus. They also give everyone free delivery on grubhub if you want to eat in! The only downside about the hotel is the location, there's barely any space to unload and load your luggage outside. However that's not on the hotel, that's just New York! Overall my stay here was a 9/10!

Great location, Great service, and clean rooms

Homewood Suites was very clean. The room were nice and there was not a long wait for elevators. They gave you $20 if you booked a suite for the suite shop which was a nice touch. Check in and check out was fast. Breakfast was provided and it was nice. The hotel was within walking distance of Time Square. I would stay here again.

My hotel stay was very nice the staff was very friendly the continental breakfast was very nice however there is no bar for the adults for the evening.
